1. What's your Best Case scenario?
Trade 11 (1st round) to Pittsburgh for 20 (1st round), 52 (2nd round), and 138 (4th round). Trade back 9 spots and pickup a 2nd and a 4th round pick.
According to this draft value table the picks are valued as:
11 - 1250
20 - 850
52 - 380
138 - 37 - total (1267)
Draft:
20 - Treylon Burks - WR Arkansas
47 - Perrion Winfrey - DT - Oklahoma
52 - Troy Andersen - LB - Montana State
2. What's the team's biggest need?
Playmakers. Offensive or defensive. Guys that can effect the game by themselves. This can be a top tier WR, it can be a disruptive force on any of the 3 levels of the middle of the defense (DT ((if we trade payne), LB, S) or it can even be a late(r) round RB that changes the dynamic of the offense in some way. We need guys who effect the gameplan of the opposing defense during the week leading up to the game on Sunday. I know that seems generic, but i don't think it's specific to position.
3. After QB, what position is the most valuable TO YOU?
Linebacker. I think it's the position where we have the most to 'gain.'
4. What's your Worst Case scenario?
Malik Willis at 11. I have my concerns that he'll even make it in the NFL. I worry about his mental ability, not his physical one. The red flag of going from Auburn to Liberty is scary. I dont think he processes the passing game well enough to be able to do it at the NFL level. He was not overwhelmingly dominant in a conference that you NEED to be overwhelmingly dominant if you're good enough to play in the NFL . I look at Cole Kelley (thank you all for pointing him out last night on the podcast fellas) at Southeastern Louisiana and the numbers he put up.
406/552 - 5124YD - 44TD - 10INT.
THAT is what you do against 'lesser' competition... not this...
207/339 - 2857YD - 27TD - 12INT
rushing:
197 carries - 878YD - 13TD
