Time for a Cool Change

Had a dabble. Incorporated the Stencil font, the three stars, our Est date (in stripes that represent the Redskins helmet stripe), the three SB's we won, and the morse coded HTTR.
It's also now transparent, so it'll go on any background.
 
Sorry, this is way too much fun so I am going to dip my toes in the water.

Just ideas (not expecting any of these to be used and feel free to tell me they are awful!) :LOL:

Inspired by the "manhole" logo as Om perfectly described it on the last pod...

A hat tip to the past and an embrace of the team's new direction.

Just trying to get a different type look... not sure I like it... feels like Bowling Green to me.

I think we need something clean. This is just a mockup, but I sort of like the idea of using our original font and 'BGO'. We probably have better versions of it, this is just to give you an idea. If the red is to much we could try changing the flag components to some form of burgundy. We might want the BGO bigger so it covers more of the flag. I like it because it's simple and clean.
 
Full disclosure.... I'm not really feeling the D.C flag in the brand... don't hate it... just not feelin it

This is a great example of bridging the past with the new direction of the franchise.

Jason Wright and Co. should take notes.
 
Hey Derek, it’s all good brother. We dig what we dig, right?The challenge is, the team hasn’t given us much to work with - right? Basically, other than elements of the DC flag and the ‘est’ date we’re down to colors, lol.

And speaking of colors, another challenge is that it’s very difficult, without redoing the site completely, to change/tweak site colors like the colors of section dividers. You tweak a color on one place and it also changes it somewhere else which doesn’t work.It especially gets complicated because a color has to work with both the light and dark version of the site.

Where I’m going with all that is that we basically have two choices. We either create a logo with bright colors that may more closely mirror the actual team colors, knowing that it’s not going to blend well with the existing color scheme. Or we try and match the existing color scheme. Neither is right or wrong - it just depends on personal taste and preference.

Maybe, but it’s just one option/way to go. There’s no rush, keep the ideas coming guys. Calling @Miles Monroe…
 
The creativity in you all is amazing. I know it’s not my gift so I don’t even try. But I’m amazed at how easily you can come up with such creative graphics.
 
I envisioned that font with the black camo inside the letters. But I don’t know how to do it with the tools I have.
