I’m not on Twitter. Who is that and what are we supposed to be reading into?
 
There is a rule that says NFL players cannot be friends with players from other teams, unless they are lobbying them to come to their team.
Therefore only one conclusion can be drawn from such activity or photos.

I've seen a lot of social media love surrounding the Park n Party last night at Fedex Field. It appears most people who attended the event were impressed and enjoyed themselves despite it being about 38 degrees when it started.


Antonio Gibson was even there

 
And this is an interesting suggestion for a 'nick name' type. Mando's. It's not the worst i've heard, but relating it to Mandalorian is a bit of a stretch. If it happens organically it could be something that catches on.

 
Hmm. ‘Mandos would work ok if it was Commandos…..

Good lord brother - 'Mandos'???? That's ****ing awful, lol...

FIrst of all, Commanders just doesn't lend itself to a nickname (or a mascot). So the best approach is don't try. But I suspect that, even though some see it as a pejorative, we'll end up referring to them as 'Commies'. Might as well embrace it and get it over with.
 
So we're looking for a nickname, for a nickname.
Hey remember, if you want a nickname for a nickname, it doesn't necessarily need to derive from the original word...
Example : Chargers - to the Bolts.

Anyhow, time will change everything I'm sure.
People will get used to both the Commanders and whatever other nickname they choose.
I'm sure, when people first started calling them the Skins, in the very beginning, a lot of people thought that was weird.

Comma's would be more appropriate, because it's the only one that doesn't add letters to the nickname, and also because there's always a comma or a semi-colon, when trying to describe how tumultuous we've been

I didnt say I loved it, i said it wasnt the worst i've heard lol

I do think it will take some sort of an organic 'event' that's closer to what you mean when you say 'don't try.'
 
Whatever this team is, I think Snyder has shifted to wanting irrelevance and looking like a joke for the next decade. It's his way of avoiding getting Weinstein'd or Epstein'd.

The temptation has crossed my mind to become an Eagles-hating, Giants-hating, Cowboys-hating "neutral" fan with someone nostalgia for what used to be with this team.
 
One option is to make a decision to be a Casual Fan.
That way you're not emotionally invested enough to be upset when they lose or when bad things happen, however you're happy when you see them win.
Somewhere in the middle. It doesn't have to be one extreme or the other.
I don't think a person would be banned from here, if they did not maintain a high degree of "Obsession" right ? ;)
