On Sunday, November 14th at 1 p.m., the Washington Football Team tries to salvage something from the 2021 season in a rematch of the last game they looked really, really good in, at home against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Talk about the game before, during, and after - here.

Considering the weird upsets last week and the Ratbirds pooping the bed last night, a win is not impossible for us

Stranger things have happened, and I always have that mentality. It’s just hard right now to believe it.

Tom Brady probably looks at this defense like he's on a mini-bye.

Jack will have them sit back in zone and watch dumbfounded as they get carved up by the GOAT.

I'd rather them lose by throwing the kitchen sink at Tom...at least there's effort and honor in that.

I actually think (likely a very delusional thought on my part) that if we were to bring the kitchen sink, we'd be in this game for a while..... I wouldn't bet on us, but if we got down hill and aggressive on defense, a 1 possession game could be very possible.

What’s funny about the no NFL shield is the teams that use that in the past (Giants and Panthers specifically) did it to suck up to the league. To say th et league was bigger than their team. With all that’s going on with the team and the league this is somewhat surprising. The league is basically covering for them right now. You’d think they would keep the that shield up for protection (I know, cheesy joke).

Was Young’s injury from a low hit or freak accident?

Imagine that, sticking with a run game for 4 quarters can actually get you a win

Wonders never cease to amaze!

Must be an early Christmas miracle??!!

This league man......

Nice to see the team come together today and play well. We are essentially playing with half a deck right now and easily could have packed it in after a 2-6 start. Internally, I think this team really responds to Rivera and the other coaches and that is a good sign moving forward in this rebuild. Now the question becomes, can we build off this? It is imperative that we do, otherwise, the warm, fuzzy feeling of today washes away real quick.

Most complete game all year, and for once we didn't abandon the run game, well there were moments when Norv jr. got cute. Needless to say while me and the miss are in Tampa the next few days glad I packed some Skins gear to rub it in

Quite frankly, this is how we were all expecting the team to play all year:

Solid defense, good tackling, effective pass rush.
Unspectacular but productive offense that feeds off the defense.

Sadly, I don't know how far they can go with both DEs out. That's a tough break. But the team appears to be figuring some things out, and they caught the Bucs flatfooted, and it was marvelous. :D
