How many wins will the Redskins get in the playoffs ?

The Wild game looks to be the best shot in my eyes, so I'll go with the win.

I'm really looking forward to seeing several more items on the bucket list for this 2015 team to check off.

Beating a 'good' team, pressure Kirk has not yet faced as the 'starter' and Gruden getting off the wild card playoff schnide

Round 2 will push our limitations of talent on D and productivity in the run game.

I'm more than ready for more surprises this year tho.

I think we've got enough combination of momentum and talent to win the first 2 games, after that we probably cap out, against the upper echelon teams.
But if this team continues this upward trend of progression, I would by no means, count out even a Super Bowl win.

So I'm predicting the Redskins' first multiple-playoff win post-season, since.....since Gibbs I ?

I might as well say "Win the f'ing SuperBowl" at this point... They've proven me wrong at least the 2nd half of the year.

I am cautiously optimistic about GB this weekend. But the second round against CAR scares me, IF we get that far. CAR has been dominant this year, and they crushed us not THAT long ago.

If we get one win, I will be exceedingly pleased. I'm not forecasting more than that.

We're a different team now, Goal. I would think we can beat up a dismantled Green Bay team...we can beat Caroilna. Would be surprised if we do.

Can you imagine a Seahawks Redskins NFC Championship at FedEx Field?

El, I'll be picking the Skins for as long as I can. There isn't anyone in the NFC I think we don't have a shot against.

But realistically, if you're asking my honest opinion, I think we have a great chance against the Pack; after that, I'll be hoping and praying but Carolina did crush us not that long ago.

I'm just taking the advice of the team I follow....One game at a time.

It's been a long time since I've felt good about a playoff game.

We're not going to just win but we're going to do more than that....

Exorcise some demons and nail another pelt to the wall.

Skins 34

Packers 17

I predicted 4 wins for the season. Therefore, I'm predicting a first round loss.

You're welcome. :)

I have a feeling if we can get past Green Bay, we have a chance to stun the Panthers. We know what we're up against there, and they think they know what they'll be facing and will have been sitting around reading about how big a favorite they'll be for 2 weeks.

But first, gotta get past Green Bay - and that's not a given.

On the other hand, Panthers are not an automatic opponent for Skins in Rd 2
If Skins and Seattle win, then Seattle plays Carolina.

I've read that if we beat Green Bay and Seattle beats Minnesota (both the favorites at this point) that our next game will be at Arizona.

We'd go to Arizona and Seattle would go to Carolina.

Carolina is the top seed, so they play the lowest ranked team that advances. That's currently Seattle.

That's true - so I'll restate - if we get past GB I won't be at all suprised if we shock our opponent the following week to reach the NFC Championship.

We have teams going in opposite directions here.

Green Bay has won 4 of its last 10 games. At a certain point, you need to say that it's not just a team going through a slump, but an underlying problem that is plaguing the team. They certainly define what it means to "back into the playoffs" this season.

Our Redskins are certainly trending upwards and showing promise and life as a football team. Of all the Redskins teams that have been in the playoffs in our last four appearances, this collection of players certainly has the highest ceiling for success. Our last three playoff teams certainly had the "one and done" feel to them, whereas with this one you can envision them getting better in future years and building on this year's success.

The one thing that concerns me about Sunday is that while we've taken care of business with the schedule we've faced, we've really struggled and were pushed around against the heavyweights and better clubs on our schedule at the time at which we played them over the course of the season - Carolina, New York Jets, New England. The fact is we haven't beaten a team with a winning record this season. It would be nice if we can cross this off our to-do list.

One might argue that when we played those teams, we weren't playing with the confidence we are now, and that would be a fair assessment.

Green Bay possesses experience, and a playoff winning tradition that they can use as motivation to draw upon and convince themselves that they can walk into Washington and win.

If we play scared, I think Green Bay's experience will give them the edge. If we play loose, aggressive, and with an attitude that we've got nothing to lose, our opponent will be prime for the picking based on their recent play.

I really believe that Sunday's result will have more to do with our approach and mentality, as opposed to anything the Packers are going to do.

We won't get a better opportunity to win a playoff game than this. We need to grab the bull by the horns.

My prediction is that the game gets decided in the final minute one way or the other.

Any given Sunday. Hopefully the home crowd is rocking and the team comes in with nothing to lose and lays an ass-kicking on them. I can't imagine we'll take the Packers lightly.

We just can't let up on them, no matter the lead, until it's over.
As long as Aaron Rodgers is at QB, it ain't over, til it's over.
He may be in a slump, he he's bound to come out of that slump at some point, like a sleeping giant.

Our best chance at victory, is getting in his head and distracting him, by having the whole stadium chant, "Discount Double Check" when Pack is on offense. You know he hates that, and is tired of hearing it.

Another factor to consider, in weighing the Skins' chances of making the Super Bowl is this added motivation they have :
If the Skins make it to the Super Bowl, they will be protected by a soundproof locker room, while Coldplay is performing.

My heart tells me the SB, but my head tells me that they can win this weekend, but will struggle the following weekend. The Panthers and Cardinals are probably the two best teams in football over the entirety of the season. The only hope is that they both had their worst games of the year in the last two weeks (Panthers week 16, Cardinals week 17). As much as I will cheer and hope, it's hard for me to pick them to win beyond this weekend.
