I think we have a really good chance of winning this weekend, as we're peaking and Green Bay is sliding a bit. Depends what team comes next, but I think the Divisional round is where we lose out.

the peckers are horrible...they shouldn't even be in the playoffs. we should win this game by 21 points....but will probably win by 10 to 14 points.

we lose in the second round: reasonably close first half....ugly second half.
 
The Redskins will lose to the seahawks in the nfc championship.

A lot of Packers fans are saying that Washington hasn't beaten a good team this season.

On the other hand, the Skins haven't played a good team since week 11.

A lot can happen in 6 weeks. Like GB going 6-0 to start. How'd that work out? 4-6 since then. And a two game losing streak coming into the playoffs scoring a combined 21 points while giving up 58. The Pack are 0-2 against good teams in the last six weeks anyway.

So which is better - not playing a good team or losing to them? It's obvious who the Packers are. Nobody knows about the Redskins though.

Maybe we havn't beaten a team with a winning record, but it doesn't matter, because we ARE a winning record, and that's how a team is supposed to be judged.

Maybe one of the reasons Washington hasn't beaten a team with a winning record is because the Skins did beat them and contributed to them having a losing record.
That's what good teams are supposed to do.
 
I'm on the same page as Boone and co I think.

There's not really a team in the League that really frightens the pants off me right now.

That's not to say that I think we're winning the Super Bowl this year, but I feel like we have a punchers chance against anyone.

After yesterday's games I'm not frightened of Pitts. KC beat up a Houston team that are poor offensively. New England haven't looked terribly frightening and Denver are bringing back Manning who looks washed up at this point.

In the NFC the Panthers proved they aren't undefeatable at the end of the season and Seattle whupped the Cards. In fact Seattle are probably the team I dislike our chance with the most.

We're peaking at exactly the right time.

I also feel like this Redskins team has no real pressure to succeed.
GB has the pressure of a fan base that expects, and currently they're asking questions about the team.

The Skins da base is just ecstatic that this team exceeded their expectations. The playoffs at this point in a rebuild is just gravy!!!
If they lose then so be it. There won't be a big autopsy of our season and what went wrong.

If I were Scotty and Gruden I'd be pushing that point home. I'd be saying "You've exceeded expectations for this season, go out there, play loose, play aggressive and we'll see what happens. We can beat these guys, all of them. They're the ones who will see wholesale criticism and changes if they bomb out of the playoffs against a team that everyone considers got here due to a weak division. Use the chip on our shoulders and let's show them how far we've come!"

I'm not predicting Super Bowl. But I'm not taking it off the table either just yet. That's something I never thought I'd be saying a few weeks into this season.

Realistically...

I think we can beat GB but maybe top out in round 2. But I think (hope) we'll be a tough out!

And I think the team players will be pissed and have a chip on their shoulder for next year. And I think the coaches and management will use that to fire up the team next season. But I think management will be happy and think of it as a successful first year of rebuild.

Note: if we come out and really put a whipping on the Pack tonight..... All bets are off baby!
 
The Packers haven't beaten a good team in quite some time.

Those early victories over Seattle and Minnesota look like 1,000 years ago during that 6-0 start.

In recent weeks they needed a hail Mary to beat the Lions and had a rough go trying to stay in the playoff race.
