You're assuming his wife knows a damn thing about what McLovin plans to do. And you're assuming he told Russini this. Those are two pretty big assumptions. Why are you making them?
 
It's possible that the wife was just totally whacked out or drunk Boone. And that she was drunk tweeting. Which might not be a great environment for his sobriety, but that's another issue.

Whether he told his wife this information, or whether she just made it up is one thing.

Her coming out and stating it as fact is the problem that concerns me.

Imagine being Jay and going to work today. Do you think he trusts Scot now? Does this breed trust within the players? That's the problem I'm concerned about.

Yep. Manufactured by our GM's wife.

Two things are very clear.

1. Toney Wyllie is a joke. He needs to be fired today.

2. McLovin's wife needs to stay off social media more than RG3 does. She's a potential problem.

Well, if her husband has been playing "POTUS AND THE INTERN IN A BLUE DRESS", then she didn't manufacture anything, she just aired it out on social media. Leaving the addicts who live for getting into other peoples business, free reign to blather on about how ****ed up OTHER people are. These bottom feeders wouldn't be able to meet their own, internet inflated analysis of others. I pay them little mind.

Don't know the details on Wylie. It's just as possible that when he first said it was a fake account, he thought it to be true. We simply don't know, do we?

As for McCloo's wife, she can do whatever she wants. It's the junkies waiting for their next fix on twitter/facebook/etc... that are equally as guilty for the drama cycles, as the providers of the stories are.

His wife coming out and tweeting that Gruden might be fired, or Callahan might be fired or anything detrimental to the team is a problem. That's the only issue I care about.

And that's not the media.....that's her stupidity, and maybe his too.
 
Or maybe that was the part she manufactured, trying to get even with a cheating husband. Don't know, don't care.

And a mid season firing is less likely that an undefeated season. Don't sweat it.
A repeat of last season, then you can start sweating.

Ax, you don't think it's a big deal that our new golden boy GM who has left the game twice due to 'personal family matters' is now suddenly experiencing a rather large and ugly 'personal family matter' in front of the entire world?

The media didn't make this crap up. His wife broadcast it all by herself. Either he was totally cheating on her and feeding information to his mistress, or his wife is a bat**** crazy drunk (or hell, maybe it was both.) Either way, it's very bad for the team whether the media and the drama-starved fans give a damn or not.

Putting aside, for a moment, the fact that the Redskins handled this whole thing about as deftly as a drunk with no thumbs, McLoughan is a guy with a track record of leaving the game to deal with personal problems, and now it is quite obvious he still has some rather sizable ones.

This isn't "Robert says he likes the color blue and therefore he's a Cowboys fan." This is a real problem. That is, if you like Scott McLoughan and want him to stay with the team for more than a few months.

to chime in: this looks like classic "getting even" posting to me. the quick retraction? could it be linked to quick lawsuit threat and no alimony if you don't undo the mess created?

I find it farfetched that McL would be that careless. There's also nothing in his past that hints at proclivities such as this. we'll find out in time.

hmmmm.....no disrespect but I have to ask: would you be voicing the same sentiments with only one critical change? that the person being fired/released was Robert Griffin the IIIrd?
 
This is just another case of people getting their ass up in the air without knowing what all the facts are.

That's why I see it as pure entertainment. If it becomes a real problem, I'll worry about then.

Currently, it's an imagined, possible problem. Maybe.
 
Well, that's what so great about sports. We each get to decide what matters because, at the end of the day, none of it really does.
 
BTW, how much did JKC's wife, riding on the hood of someone's car she was likely getting the high hard one from, while drunk, getting arrested and charged with several misdemeanors, hurt?

I would say his wife's antics were clearly a symptom of JKC's dysfunctional relationship with his family. A dysfunction which continued to haunt this team after his death, when he refused to leave the team outright to his son.

And yeah, Snyder getting his grubby paws on the team has hurt pretty bad.
