Wtf is this, tmz? You're just now making up things that you can "see happening" and not anywhere near any fact.

Just responding to this question from Boone.

"And I'll ask again - do you really believe a guy of McCloughan's stature would quietly go along with being told what football decisions to make by Richie Rich? Because in order for your scenario to have any basis in fact, that's exactly what one has to believe."

Yeah, I do think it's reasonable to believe that an owner would request that. And that McLovin would agree until it became obvious that there was a better direction.

Of course you believe it, you're anti Snyder and Griffin and make no means to hide it. So if you can somehow tie the two of them together in a negative light I honestly believe you will at every given opportunity.

What I don't get is why you're doing it now. You mad that Griffin isn't failing? You upset somehow that morris and Griffin are looking good? Why are you trying so hard to push an unfounded rumor?

Maybe Snyder loosened McLovin up with a couple of big Gin and Tonics before directing him how to run the franchise?

Maybe they rode a magical carpet to Narnia where the goat man told them how they should both run the team.

For the record - I'm anti-Snyder. He's pretty much spent 20 years wrecking my beloved franchise. He's not a nice man. But that doesn't mean I believe every ridiculous rumor sportswriters and critics put out there - when there's not a shred of evidence backing it up :)

Lol.....not interested in beating a dead horse. Thought it was an interesting comment from a respected guy who covers the team.

Now....back to practice.

Junior Galette is impressing people early.

Now that you've pulled the pin on that grenade and watched the carnage...of course it's not interesting ;)

Former very successful GM has a problem with alcohol twice and wants to get back into the league?

I don't think that scenario is far-fetched. I think most in his position would take that job.

Hmmmm Scott the sot.... You're basically implying that Scott showed up at our front door on the balls of his ass hurting for a job because of his past problems, and had little options but take the job under the conditions in your scenario.

Every indication and article I've seen since his hire indicates he addressed his past personal problems, had a successful consulting business, and we went after him for the position. From what I understand, he was getting a very sizable fee from a number of teams last season, including the Skins. Doesn't sound like a guy that would have to buckle under to those conditions to get the job.

That alone says to me that the scenario stacks up to a steaming pile of road apples....

No, it's not something to watch unless you're in to unfounded rumors and reruns of the same ol story. Sorry, McD, but you're just entertaining this because it fits in to what you want to believe. There is zero evidence that it's a legit story or that any of it is happening. I'll stick to the truth that's presented instead of the rumors and gossip made up for clicks and buzz.

Sorry I refuse to buy that anyone here actually wants that to be the truth. I understand that some of you want to just disregard a lot of what some say, but what it boils down to is that this seems to be Keim's opinion and that McD believe his opinion is worth entertaining.

I like Keim but I'm not ready to accept that opinion, but I'm not gonna keep pounding a member because he's posting it. Its there, its a real opinion in the local media, its not made up. Do I believe it? No. Do you have to? No. I'm not gonna bust McDs balls over bringing it up. These back and forths are silly. I called him out on it, he provided proof but we keep going and going. Jeezus already.

Actually, **** it. I don't want this kind of shit in my life today.

Smooth Mike.... Smooth. Don't you every tell me to not tell you to not tell me you uh ..err...huh? Happy Happy Joy Joy Happy Happy Joy...

You wanna tell people not to do the back and forths? Then follow your own ****ing advice.

The problem is I didn't get on my soapbox and tell you to do anything. I was actually not even talking to you at all.

I'd only be a kettle if I told you it was wrong. I've merely said that before you try to do it make sure you're clear of it.

This is the last I'll say to you about it unless you want to PM.

Take it to PM right now.

More from Keim, getting the coaches take after film work.

My gut reactions to a live play are so dang tied to the result that its hard to actually see the whole picture. My live gut take on Garcon's drop... get it out quicker, put it on the other side, catch the damn ball.

After reading about the adjustments made on the fly by both guys, it was actually a fairly spectacular play that just missed.

The play: The play-action deep ball to Pierre Garcon that was dropped inside the 10-yard line.

My thought: I had been told there was an adjustment on this play, so I wasn’t bothered by Griffin being late with the throw. The result was that Garcon and Griffin sort of adjusted on the go and it should have resulted in a touchdown. Griffin still put the ball where Garcon could have, and should have, made the catch.

Their thought: Gruden said Garcon was supposed to sit down on the route, but made an adjustment. Because the safety was holding in the middle of the field and the corner had stopped, the outside was open, so Garcon made the cut. That’s why it looked a little awkward at one point

The play: Two missed fade routes to Garcon in the red zone. Both were overthrown.

My thought: Another missed opportunity in the red zone. The first one was just too far, as there was enough room to work with to give Garcon a better chance. No one would disagree. However, on the second one, the ball initially was supposed to go to Andre Roberts, but it was wise not to throw to him because Roberts would have been short of the first down.

Their thought: He had a free nickel pass-rusher running at him and needed to get rid of the ball. Yes, the pass was incomplete, but they knew once the blitzer was unblocked, there would be trouble. So Griffin earned kudos from them for getting rid of the ball and saving the short field-goal attempt.

Washington Redskins pleased with Robert Griffin's preseason showing - Washington Redskins Blog - ESPN

I like both of those comments because they show that Griffin was thinking on the fly and being decisive. Those are the things he should be working on in preseason. The timing of passes and the accuracy on difficult throws, he gets plenty of time to work on that during 7 on 7 drills. But it's when that rush is coming that he needs to be decisive and make a decision. I'm glad to hear the coaches saying that he is doing that.

I still want to see more passes for Griffin. 9 running plays and 9 called passing plays (8 throws and 1 Griffin scramble). They also ran on every first down with Griffin in the game. This may be great balance for a regular season game, but we all know Morris can run. Everyone wants to see how Griffin has grown. Griffin needs the live action in the preseason. We don't get to see much of that with handoffs.
