Burner's Burning Questions: Free Agency, The Mock Drafts, 2015 (Continual Updates)

Seriously? Tevin Mitchell over Ifo? Who the hell is Tevin Mitchell? I don't see any info on him.

Evan Spencer? Competition for Grant perhaps but it would have been interesting to see redzone threat Darren Waller in this spot. You can never tell with late rounders but these guys seem a bit underwhelming. They all look like Special Teamers instead of guys who might be able to contribute or provide quality depth.

Special teams guys are made in the late rounds, I've always thought.

Two things are now pretty clear:

1. La'el Collins obviously has some information that the police want to talk with him about. He's probably connected in some way to the murder.

2. If we did get him, we'd arguably have the best O-line in the league.

Take him. Fight with his agent and offer him a lot of money if cleared.

A lot of money? You can only offer him a specific amount because he is a rookie.

"La'el, we are so happy that your name has been cleared. We believed in you from the beginning. Now we can only give you so much money. But on the way in this morning, the funniest thing happened. I found some trash bag of money out by the back door. We have no idea whose it is." lol

Have you ever thought about going in to politics? Lol

Exactly. Good point. That is exactly what we have been doing since round five. We could've gone after some marquee names remaining on the board, but it still neglects the special teams.

Get the special teamers now (and some next year) and then we can go after the shiny names in a couple of years.

The page below is wild. It's the Walter 6th round grades. Granted, they may be totally off.

But they crap on our sixth round, then give teams drafting the exact same positions one or two after us grades of A.

And they loved our earlier rounds.

Either Scot really is a genius, or he may have whiffed in the 6th round. Or....he was just going for ST players.

I tend to think he knows more than WF.

He may need some work on run blocking, but you can't question his pass protection. My guess is that Callahan does good things here.

Nathan Jahnke@PFF_NateJahnke
New Washington OG Arie Kouandjio allowed 0 sacks, 3 hits and 3 hurries last year. Had the 3rd best Pass Blocking Efficiency for OGs

Walter Cherepinsky is an Eagles homer who usually skewers the Redskins on most everything. FYI - his site is not a research site. He has a software scraper that forms a database for him and goes from there. Hence, the major and minor mistakes that are common there.

I know Scot is one of the best BB.

Still, part of me wishes that he had taken your TE, or Nick O'Leary later instead.

Oh well.....hopefully he's right.

Took a center. And that's a wrap. On to UDFAs. La'el probably goes in the 8th.

Redskins have nine picks in the 2016 draft already. Great to have this GM.

Austin Reiter - center at 6'3 and 273?

Is he a candidate to replace Sundberg as a long snapper?

I can't see what regular position he could play at 273.
