I’m very disappointed in you all….

The reports from Bradford's workout yesterday were glowing from all sources. The shoulder looked 100% too with Dr. Andrews giving it his blessing. He'll be long gone by 4.

Going to say it again for the record and future reference ... love Bradford's intelligence and accuracy, feel pretty good about his leadership and work ethic, am okay with his arm strength and pocket sense/mobility ... and have serious reservations about his frame being too light/frail to hold up in the NFL over time.

Right or wrong, I want that assessment out there for someday. :)

Even though he has gained 18 lbs of muscle here recently? Looking at some of his pro day footage, he looked a lot bigger to me.

Haven't seen those vids yet, brother. Hopefully he's strengthened up w/o losing any flexibility or range. Thing that bothered me about him though isn't something you can fix with weight or muscle gain ... his knees. He has an upright stance in the pocket and plants that front foot pretty good when he lets the ball go. I can't help but envision NFL linemen and linebackers buzzing in low and blowing the guys' knee out. I know that can happy to any QB, but there's something about Bradford's physique and delivery that make me nervous.

Of course, that and a quarter will get you, well, a quarter. I also thought Matt Ryan was going to be a bust and all he's done is make me look silly so far.

I will have to pay closer attention to his front foot next time. JC has taken a few of those hits and has been lucky enough to come away unscathed.

I think the jury is still out on Ryan. He is definitely not a bust, but I would not give him too much credit yet. Of course, I thought the same thing about Aaron Rodgers. I thought he was going to be a huge flop, and well my opinion of him was a huge flop.

While I STILL prefer a LT, as long as we don't trade UP for him, I have no problem with taking Bradford....or Clausen....OR trading down.

I don't think you've seen that here, Mike ... if anything what I've seen is that the collective BGOpinion (sorry) seems to be "Well, at #4 okay, but trade up? No way."

I tend to agree with the "don't trade up" for Bradford idea because I still view the available QBs as relative toss-ups, each with their pluses and minuses. No one of them seems to stand head and shoulders above the rest in the same manner as, say, Okung does when compared to the other top-rated OTs
