Burner's Burning Questions: Free Agency, The Mock Drafts, 2015 (Continual Updates)

Free Agency, The Mock Drafts, 2015 (Continual Updates)

Free Agency is entering a second day as we take look at the current state of the Redskins franchise. Last week we had our second mock – feel free to scroll back and see what was posted. The mocks will slowly increase in number as we get closer to the draft.

We will continue to have FA updates, but will no longer list potential prospects.

Feel free to offer your own ideas about the draft, free agency, team cuts, coaching changes, and anything else related to these subjects. Too, we’d like to see your mocks if you are so inclined.

Hail To The Redskins!

Yes to Pot Roast, and yes to Perrish Cox please.

If we can work out something affordable, McLovin will have come right in and bolstered this D immediately.

3 new guys up front, and one new CB? Huge.

NT Dan Williams has signed with the Raiders. That makes Pot Roast much more valuable. Not the greatest timing just ahead of his visit with us.

Browner is 30 and has emphasized in his departure from NE that he is not going to take a second tier salary slot.

If he wouldn't restructure to stay in NE he certainly isn't going to give us any discounts.

I personally have no interest in Browner for a few reasons. The first being his age. The second being that many of the analysts believe he is a system CB, and we don't run that system. No thanks.

And how about Greg Hardy? I haven't seen anyone mention his name yet. 26 years old, and elite skills.

Do we make the call? If we landed him and the others mentioned above we would have a tough defense.

If I remember correctly, Hardy is already in the Domestic Violence program and is already in deep doodoo with the league. One more misfire would mean a suspension. Not sure we want to go there.

Greg Hardy officially free to move on from Carolina Panthers - ESPN

The charges were dropped last Friday.

Now.....to save everyone the following ten messages, is he a moron? Probably. He doesn't even know how to spell the word awesome as you can see at the link.

Is his play on the field elite? Yes. No one questions that. He'd be a huge upgrade to Orakpo.

Does the signing of Paea maybe make this signing reduntant? Possibly.

He'd probably come at somewhat of a discount, maybe even on a 1 year deal to prove himself. Many teams are interested however, so it may not be that big of a discount.

The 49ers did take Aldon Smith...and it certainly appears that McLovin is a big believer in defense.

I'm just surprised that I haven't seen his name mentioned on this site yet.

He might not be worth it to a team looking for players to be here for the next 5 years......

Pass. I don't want the media circus or the bad karma that would come with that ass-clown.

Still praying for a Jameis Winston reckless driving here. I hope that doesn't make me a bad person. No injuries please.

I'm not following...

I'm not following...

So that Tampa takes Mariotta instead and Jameis falls to us...kinda like when I was hoping Irsay would outsmart everyone and draft RG3 instead of Luck.

I gotta say, I would love to see Jameis fall to us. That kid is going to be a lot better than many around these parts believe.

So he somehow drops to number 5 lol.

That's going by the huge assumption that an added incident like that, puts him out of favor of Tampa, yet has no effect on favor with the Skins mgmt

Pretty sure it was said in jest...I know that scenario is about as likely as Chip Kelly winning a Super Bowl in Philthy.
