All in all happy about win obviously. Got me even more in spirit of the season... Would love to see the team win out and put a damper on some other NFC east team's fans...

I think yesterday's game showed that we have two offensive linemen worth bringing back in Williams and Lichtensteiger and three that have to go.

Griffin dropped back to pass on one play yesterday and had Jackson WIDE open down the field but before he could even properly turn and set his feet, Brandon Graham had pushed Chris Chester back into the qb and got the sack.

THAT was not the qb holding the ball too long or failing to read defenses properly. That was a 315 pound guard not being able to anchor and hold ground against a 260 pound rusher that came in to play for Trent Cole after he went down against Dallas.

I think what was most impressive about Griffin beyond the long hook ups with Jackson was his decision NOT to throw the football into tight coverage over the middle of the field and cause a turnover in the red zone.

Exactly the play that Mark Sanchez was goaded into making in the fourth quarter that helped seal the game for the Redskins.

Why Philly fans were happy to see Foles go out and Sanchez go in as the qb is beyond me.

Sanchez is a backup qb while Foles was the one that took them to the playoffs last season as division champs.

A lot of teams would take Foles off Kelly's hands if he doesn't want him.

You would think that there would be some sort of rule that after so many roughing the passer calls the next player to do it would be ejected.....

Just out of curiosity, how long have you been a Redskins fan? Is this your first exposure to Eagles fans? If so, allow me to help you out here. See, Eagles fans are re-tard-ed. They are convinced that the Eagles are better than...pretty much anyone else. Not is the "I'm their #1 fan" kind of way, but in the "they are the better team on the field...always" kind of way. You couldn't talk an Eagles fan off of a ledge with a foot long Philly Cheesesteak once they've decided to jump. Loyal? Yes. But, dumb as a rock with a face painted on it? Absolutely.

(In case you didn't realize, I'm messin' with you) :)

I like how quickly the header changed to the Redskins vs. Cowboys LoS. Usually, it takes a couple days for that to change, but even in a losing season, we get jazzed up to face the Pukes!!!

Brother Om manages that usually - and does a great job with it - but I usurped him this week because I thought we shouldn't waste a second preparing to knock Dallas right out of the playoffs! Or if nothing else, to cast doubt upon their festering souls!
 
In Hazmat's last game before handing the reins to Olivotti, he lays it on the line. Pre-snap formation resembles a square dance, confusing Romo and the backfield. At the snap the whole front 7 does a synchronized "Freeney" spin, all of them! This stuns the turds just long enough for Kerrigan to charge the backfield yelling like Bobby Boucher in the water boy. Romo shits himself as Ryan's helmet goes 1/2 into his stomach almost touching Romo's spine.

The rest of the game is all go routes that connect to Tana as a tribute to the MNM. Crowd goes apeshit and rains Trung Candidate paraphernalia onto the field.

I was on the LA freeway, then at LAX, and then Santa Monica Pier.

Basically everywhere BUT where i wanted to be. I'll be there Sunday though to close the joint down for the season.

Quick aside question... is Kerrigan a FA next year? I've heard talk that implies that he is.. and was just wondering. We have to keep him.. he's the only real beast on our defense that comes and plays every week.

No, we picked up his 5th year option. We'll have to hammer out a deal this year to keep him beyond 2015.
 
Yeah, they opted Kerrigan as soon as they could.
The need to know where Rak was is probably the only reason they didn't do a long term deal for Kerrigan right out of the box.
 
so, Trent to IR sucks because he needs the experience. But I think we have enough to know he will be on the roster next season. Having Johnson step in for this last game will give him some true game time experience and what its like against our most hated rival. He seemed to do good against it with Philthy....heres to hoping he can continue to show that fire.

I guess there is no rush in putting Colt on IR but just for smart business practices in football shouldnt that have been done LAST week when we could have put an extra player on the roster? Or was being inactive enough to do that?
