Jameis

Just a quick observation from an outsider without a dog in this fight in any way shape or form (my school's in the CAA for God's sake). You guys sound more than a little jealous of the SEC.

It's why we dropped to 4. They do not want us playing the likes of TCU or Oregon because we would crush either of them. Alabama gives the playoff committee their best chance to defeat FSU.If these standings remain after this weekend's games, FSU is going to have a stiff test against Alabama in the first round.
Alabama is currently projected to be 11 1/2 point favorites if that game happens. Ouch! That will be a real test for Jameis and the Noles.

Why is FSU being ranked #4 all that shocking when they have looked so shaky so many times this year? Not taking anything away from them - they've done nothing but win. But some of the teams they struggled against called into question how 'dominant' they are...

How can they control there own destiny when they keep sliding in the rankings but keep winning football games...while other teams have lost?I actually think if anyone is getting screwed it's Baylor not FSU - FSU controls its own destiny. Baylor is just getting robbed.
