Griffin played well in the opener.
And he played well until he got hurt in the Jax game.
Griffin played well in the opener.
But the offense could not consistently move the ball under him.
That's more important than some decent stats.
We still lost, which is all that matters. But the offense could not consistently move the ball under him.

Holy let down. I enjoyed the crap our of the game (at the local Skins Bar) but sheesh with the penalties and the Refs at times. Its kind of weird seeing some of my Eagles fan friends act as if they rolled us up in a blowout. They actually are talking that way on FB and on the web in general. I dont think we watched the same game.
Did the Oline all of a sudden turn into the 91 Hogs on pass pro or is it that one Qb is more decisive than the other and knows where to go with the ball?

Either effort the past 2 weeks would've absolutely crushed the Texans in the opener. Too bad we gave that one away.

Got a good explanation today. Cousins has to be faster with his reads and delivery because he has limited mobility compared to Griffin. Griffin knows he can often elude defenders with his legs, so he tends to take more time trying to make things happen. It's all about knowing your limits, playing within them, and Cousins has always had to play that way, Griffin hasn't.

Pretty sure that DeAngelo is out for the year. That kind of injury takes about one year to heal. I don't think it ends his tenure as a member of the Redskins, but it will probably move him from corner to safety. CB now becomes a priority in the next draft.
Also, when he did come out w/ his knee issue - Compton came in and didn't miss a beat.Oh, and to give credit where credit is due...I thought Polumbus had a good day in pass protection.
It surprised me.
No doubt, our 1st rounder should be best secondary available. Probably need a mid range FA as well.
Do you think DHall can come back as FS given his age?
