I like a lot of what he said, and I thought it was optimistic overall.
However, I do notice one trend that I don't like. I don't know what the league averages are, but it sure feels like we have a lot of players that are recovering from injuries. And we are drafting a lot of guys that had injuries in college.
I bet we could collectively list 15 different players right now on this team that are recovering from serious injuries, and that's too many. I'll start with a few obvious ones:
1. RG3 (who has never played an entire season in college or the pros before)
2. Chase Minnifield
3. Hatcher
4. Hankerson
5. Jenkins
6. Spencer Long
7. Seastrunk
8. Chris Thompson
9. Phillip Thomas
10. Keenan Robinson
That seems like a lot, doesn't it? And many of these guys are recent draft picks.
I'm not a big fan of drafting players who had serious injuries in most cases.
