Who taught this guy math? Haha! When this day is over it will be 70...more tomorrow and thats not including the 5 Sunday evening.

I took my journeyman electrician's test today and passed it, this was a big deal because it comes with an $8 a hour pay raise. What a relief, you have no clue how stressed I have been about this! The added stress today of doing hands on stuff while people are watching you and grading what you are doing. I thought I did horrible, and ended up with a 90%. It is time to drink heavily lol!

Thanks! That is the weird part, I passed my Master Electricians test in SC in 2008, but when I moved to Ohio it doesn't matter. Tests just suck in general lol

Yeah, out here in WA it's the same. We have reciprocals with like ID and AK (maybe Ore don't remember) but anywhere else it's a retest. A complete retest, not just the the state stuff. Kinda stupid - the NEC is still the NEC everywhere in the US; it's just the state stuff that's different.

I just accepted another position on yet another boat. Its more of a part time gig that should give me some flexibility and more time off. Not telling the current moron until I get some of the 40 days pay he owes me. Yay boats.

I've been reprimanded for thinking outside the box and advertising on Facebook, using my own territory money (which actually, eventually, comes out of my pocket) because my marketing department can't control the message. I've been screaming for years we need to advertise directly to Moms, and this does just that. Sigh.

'Reprimanded' or just given a 'talking to'? I got in trouble once for starting a work-related Facebook (or You Tube, can't remember which) page. Pissed me off, because they'd actually said they would do it, but it wasn't happening, so I just did it myself. That kind of stuff I would just let roll off my back - because anyone with any sense is going to look at that and say 'guys got initiative'. I mean, anyone other than the marketing department

Given a talking to, I wasn't written up or anything. Just irritates me because the marketing director said it's a great idea but they want to control the message but they don't have time to do it. Blah.

Big shake up at work today, lots of higher ups moving around. Head down, eyes closed, can't lose!
