Hatcher's 11 sacks last year were more than our entire D Line combined!! Get em, Hatch!!

Heard a stat that 8 of Hatchers 11 came against NFCE opponents.. 2 of which against Philly in the season finale.
 
Too often in the past this franchise equated big name free agency signings with instant success. Plug, play, produce was the mentality based on name recognition alone. Where we failed was often in the coaching department and scheming correctly for the big names we brought in.

It's a bit of a different feel this time around. Many signings that don't create much buzz, but guys who have shown flashes here and there that could turn into adequate finds provided they are used properly and coached and taught correctly.

Ultimately, it places more ownership and responsibility squarely on the shoulders of the coaching staff. It places a premium on teaching, something staffs have lacked for quite some time in this organization.

No matter where you put him in a front, he dominates with his quickness, aggression and technique. And he’ll have pass-rushing monsters on either side of him in linebackers Brian Orakpo and Ryan Kerrigan, meaning that he’ll face a lot of single team blocking. The Redskins have a lot to address overall, but getting Hatcher is a very smart move.

That part is the absolute least of my concerns. That's like wondering if Garçon will bring it this season.
