I wish the maggot would take up long distance motorcycle riding.
Hey, hey, hey, don't be pushing him off on my little piece of heaven.
I wish the maggot would take up long distance motorcycle riding.
I did see Ax call 'negative' people pathetic, dishonest, punchbowl pissers who should go root for the Patriots. That's where I'm coming from.
A post game speech by Gruden:
Joey T is at the end of this vid... i though it looked like him and he introduces him at the very end. I wonder if Joey T is that close with Jay and if he was involved in wooing him here.
Pause it at 1:02
Jay Gruden Mic'd up for the Florida Tusker:
at 3:38 he calls out his assistant for calling it the "Hook and lateral" lol
I love this guy...
"I got the first one right, YOU guys got it wrong!"
LOL, love this guy already.

Reports are Gruden brought the beat reporters pizza after the press conference when he went to the media room to see them.
Reporters tweeted not once remembering Shanahan even entering the room (I think that was posted here)

Confession time: I was quietly thinking the best bet was Whisenhunt.
Same here but then i'm thinking they wanted another WCO guy which makes sense. I'm not really anti Gruden and actually wanted Jon Gruden over Shanahan but I'm skeptical of anything that Snyder potentially has the ability to decide is best for the Redskins.

Not buying this. As Gruden alluded to in his presser, the belief is that it wasn't the scheme but the lack of play makers in the secondary. Unclear if he thinks the d-line was an issue. I know we don't get any pressure from our d-line without a blitz.
And, what secrets could he tell about our piss poor defense? That our secondary was slow and plays soft?

I know I'm not a fan of Haslett coming back.
I'm also not the guy paying Shanahan $7 million next year to continue to smear my organization all over the world. After being screwed over by so many other former employees like Haynesworth in the same manner, that has to sting. He's also paying Kyle $1 million next year to tell his next employer our team's secrets.
I've seen estimates that say it would cost another $5 million to fire the rest of the staff. And how much in buyouts to other teams would new assistants cost? If they are currently under contract, that will cost even more.
The answer is pretty simple. If you think Haslett sucks, then you promote him with some bs title and have him pick up pizzas for the rest of the year. He's already under contract. You already have to pay him. Why pay him to possibly leave to a competitor?
