Went to see American Hustle yesterday...

Damn good movie!

I like Jeremy Renner and he did a fine job, but he and Bradley Cooper were out of the element with Christian Bale and Amy Adams. Never been a huge fan of Amy Adams, but she and Bale should both get Academy Award recognition for their parts. They were great! I have seen Bale perform well in other movies, but Adams' performance was the best I have seen her do. She was phenomenal! Never saw anything Jennifer Lawrence did other than Hunger Games, which was ok, but even she did a fantastic job and should probably get a nomination for best supporting actress.

Overall, it was nice to go to the movies and see a well crafted flick for a change. They call it a comedy, but it is not Ricky Bobby or Ron Burgundy!

She was awesome. The whole cast was awesome I thought.

It really, honestly reminded me of blow, which is my favorite movie. This one will wind up in my small collection of movies i'll watch any time they're on, over and over. I'm not a big theater goer but I'd easily see it a second or third time in the theater if friends were going and invited me.

I'm not a picky movie person by any stretch, I just don't like watching movies I've already seen. Unless they're really good, like this one.

And Jennifer Lawrence is smoking hot. The fact that she's also an amazing actress just adds to it for me. I haven't seen the hunger games, but after watching Silver Lining Playbook and American Hustle I'm going to go back and get the movies she's been in. I can't believe she's only 24, she's going to have an amazing career.

I always find it amazing how opinions vary. I thought Lawrence was pretty hot and she did a very good job, I was simply blown away with Adams' performance. And I also believe the whole cast was wonderful, but I felt that Adams performance would have stolen the movie had it not been for Bale. He was never one of my favorites, but damn did he do a great job in this movie.

Regardless, I thought this movie as a whole was very well crafted and I am a movie snob. This was the first time I had been in a theatre in as long as I can remember because I was tired of paying 20 bucks for **** movies.

Seriously, go watch "Winter's Bone." Great movie and amazing "rookie" performance from Lawrence. And yes, she is smokin' hot.

Saw American Hustle because of this thread, I shit you not. Terrific movie. Usually with a cast that big, I feel like a couple of casting screw ups are inevitable, but damn. Not an off note, imo. Wonderful movie, exquisite camera work, tremendous acting, just...damn.

Yeah I love that damn show , it's an addiction. IMHO Lena Heady looks so much better with dark hair. Like in 300 and Sarah Connor chronicles.

The red witch has that evil bitch vibe that she works very well! Can't wait for the season premiere!!!!
