We don't do 'Spoiler Alerts' here. It cracks me up when people get upset about 'spoilers', honestly. If you are passionate about a show, and aren't up to date, and don't want to know what happened on the most recent episode, for God's sake, don't go on the internet and open up discussion threads. No offense intended - seriously

Yeah, it ain't exactly rocket surgery. The episode that Mike posted a clip of first aired on October 9th 2011.

This summer I watched all three previous seasons of Homeland and GOT. I was able to view all in their entirety without knowing the outcome by intentionally avoiding things like discussion threads.

Additionally, I consider myself to be as respectful and courteous as one can be. I think that avoiding possibly spoiling someone's enjoyment of a series that is years old is pushing it. Who ever goes to the internet to seek out discussion of an episode that aired years in the past anyway?

No. And I'll say, respectfully, that this is an example of an assumption - assigning intent where there is none. People post details of a current show because they are excited about it and want to discuss with friends. Not to screw you.

I hate to put it this way, but if you're opening a thread titled 'Breaking Bad' and don't expect it to contain current ongoings, well...I just don't know what to say to that.

It's just common sense.

Not to pile on, but I agree completely here. I have only watched the first season (it's on my list), and I will not be clicking the video anytime soon. And I totally get people being excited about a show and wanting to discuss it. The culture these days makes that discussion difficult, and that irritates me. Having to post spoiler alert when you're excited about a plot development or whatever is silly.

We generally watch shows one full day after they air on Hulu or Amazon or whatever, and I pretty much avoid Hitfix and other recap blogs until after I've seen the show in question, then go to town. I don't think it's that hard.

The "when it aired" argument is invalid. Since the Game of Thrones books are over 10 years old, they are fair game as well, right? Nobody should be upset if something gets spoiled, correct? Of course not. I wouldn't be an asshole and just ruin the next few seasons of that show.

What kind of thing? I thought we were talking about spoilers for fairly recent television. You may be right, I may be being a little ridiculous here, and maybe it should be expected that a thread titled "Breaking Bad" will inherently have spoilers within. Just offering my 2 cents, is all.

YES! He is phenomenal, and I'm confident he could nail any role. Shoot, I bet he could pull off Batman, even! Simply phenomenal!

So did Jesse realize Walter was behind taking his ricin cigarette because stole his pot also? Or did they replaced it with the missing pack of smokes and that's how he knew? That part was a little unclear to me.

I got the feeling he knew all along and the missing pot just triggered him accepting that what he's tried to tell himself couldn't be true, was true. It was an odd scene though, not very clear what was going on.

I don't know ... In the flash forward the house didn't look burned just abandoned and trashed. I think Walt interrupts Jesse before he can light it up. I also predict Walt kills him there... He can't help himself. Hell - maybe Junior walks in on him after he's killed Jesse just to really complicate things...

No way, Jesse will make it to the finale. Its always been Walt & Jesse, it will remain that way. I'd bet my right arm on that! In fact, if anything, I bet Jesse kills Walt in a final "Breaking Bad" moment (Jesse being the only one with morals in the entire show, finally going bad). Or, it will be some sort of cliffhanger with Jesse holding up a gun, and the series ends not knowing who did it.

The more I think about it, the more Bryan Cranston is the absolute perfect choice to play Lex Luthor. Awesome casting choice!

And I'm willing to give Ben Affleck a shot at Batman - most people laughed their asses off when Heath Ledger was cast as the Joker, and all he did was win an oscar. RIP.

It really is brilliantly written. There are only two things I can think of that I found a bit under-explained; the aforementioned cigarette incident, and the whole Mike situation. He went from being Sol Goodman's errand boy with a "connection" to being Gus's right-hand man in just a few episodes; I never really understood his whole situation. I think they just transferred his character when it became convenient to the plot? I dunno.
