We need your help especially early on here...

1) What do you think of the new site? What do you like, what not so much?
2) What bugs/glitches are you experiencing? We've tested the hell out of the software but no doubt there are things we either missed or which won't show up until we have multiple users on board.
3) What features/functionality are you not seeing that you wanted?

Help us help you :)

And welcome to the New BGO.

The BGO Staff

Props to Brother Pete who has mostly built our banner image library on his own with Brother Om support. It's going to be a beautiful feature... this is not an end product, almost all of our add-ons will be upgraded in the coming weeks. I am so excited we went old school with our original logo and look...

I really love the banner, layout, and color scheme. The logo is awesome. Apparently it's a version of the old log, but it's new to me and I absolutely love it.

I'm not used to the side bar yet, but I think I'm going to like it :)

Awesome job from what I have seen so far!

I love....and I mean absolutely LOVE the hot escort forum. It's a dream come true!!!!!

Wait.....maybe that's a different window I have open.

Looks great, guys! Just logged in, I'll file my bug report in a bit. :)

So far so good. I especially like the Spy feature, it makes it much easier to keep up with what's being posted real time.

More as I keep rummaging around.

I do not like the icons for the threads. I'm a minimalist type person though, they distract me. Let me give it more than 10 minutes though before you take that comment with any seriousness. Just a gut reaction.

Yeah - that's our original logo. We always loved it and decided to go back to it. We took the standard 'sidebar' and installed it as an 'Everywhere Sidebar' so you have constant access to new posts, new threads, new blogs, and 'Liked' content. It's different from looking at a laundry list of latest content (although you can still do that via the 'Today's Posts' or 'New Posts' features available in drop down menus). We considered adding a 'Latest Discussions' module for the home page, but decided it would be unnecessarily redundant. We can reverse course on that if there's consensus.

We're not crazy about the icons system either but not sure if there's much we can do about it.

Mobile is very weird.

We will be customizing the mobile skin in the next phase. Can you be more specific? Personally, I prefer Tapatalk anyway, but we want to get the standard mobile skin as usable as possible so give us some feedback.

Yeah, the 'Spy' feature is an add-on I found and installed. It's real-time, which is the major advantage over the 'What's New?' 'activity stream.

The bloggers page is all messed up with the names and dates. I guess that is on the to do list.

It will take some getting used to, but I have a feeling that it will be much better than the old style.

Yeah - the Blogs component we probably spent the least amount of time on. We'll get there... One of the things I like most about the new version is that we can 'Promote' any article or blog to a home page 'article' with just a couple clicks. Really easy. Not to mention folks can now share threads, blog entries, and articles on Facebook and elsewhere with just a click.

I really like the layout of the thread view. The thin burgundy line at the top with the gradient over the left side. Very clean looking.

Only problem I've found so far is that page load times are pretty slow, but with all the bells & whistles I guess that is to be expected. Sometimes my home internet sucks too, so that might be an issue.

So far I really like the mobile skin. Much easier to read than using the full site mode. Would be cool to have the BGO branding, but it's window dressing so no big deal on when if that happens.

i will echo what Lanky said, load times seem a tad slower than before.

I really like the layout, as t said - its very clean.

The old-school logo & rotating picture on the banner are MONEY. Very nicely done!

I really like the sidebar so far - great way to see what has been posted!

The "like" feature is really cool too - except it seems to be broken, I only have two likes so far. :D

Here you go, Lanky-I liked this post.

:devilish:

Another thing that bothers my engineer/OCD/anal-ness is the alma-mater logos are not centered under the profile information. Its driving me a little crazy. :)

Also, the notifications feature tells us when a post is liked, but how about when someone replies to us? Is it too late? :)

Brother Om will want to kiss you (I mean, more than usual) for that comment Travis. I think the term 'clean' was mentioned at least 500 times during the past 2 months :)
