I'm one of those weird "morning people"

Each morning has a new beginning, a new blessing, a new hope. It's a perfect day because it's God's gift to me!

Good morning...still fuming over the Caps loss last night, and the obviously bull**** penalties that were called. I hate being a conspiracy theorist, but there's not much else to draw from last night's game.

Good afternoon, BGO! How in the bloody blue hell are y'all crazy bastages? :)

I have to say that life is absolutely slammed busy on this end right now, but that's an incredibly awesome thing. My family is back together, and things are going wonderfully. I took my wife to a nice little restaurant last night between getting off work and picking up our kids from dance class. It was the first time in -- I don't even KNOW how long -- that we were able to dine together without the kids, and enjoy an adult beverage and adult conversation. It is such a privilege to get to know this amazing woman again, and I'm thoroughly enjoying the rebirth of our relationship.

The kids, meanwhile, are exceeding my expectations in all areas. They are both doing incredibly well in school, and both are well above their current grade level academically. Moreover, they've welcomed me back into the family home with open arms. No animosity. No rebellion. Nothing but love and gratitude for our second chance at this. I could not possibly be more grateful for that.

My new job is great. I'm working at Hamilton Nissan in Hagerstown, and was pleasantly surprised to find that the staff is a lot like the one I left back in Cumberland. There's no cut-throat "city" mentality, and I feel fortunate to be a part of a good group. I appreciate the fact that they've welcomed me in, and have helped me get rockin' and rollin'.

I went through a lot to get to this point. I was an absolutely miserable human being, and fairly miserable to be around, for a LONG time. But I truly believe I had to experience some of those things in order to have the appreciation I do for where I am now. And because I believe there's someone out there who needs to hear this right now, please believe me when I tell you that my life is absolute proof that NOTHING is impossible.

Sorry I haven't been around much lately. As you can see, I've kind of had my hands full. But now and always, whether I'm posting here regularly or not, you guys are on my mind, and I wish each of you the very, very best everyday!
