Comment: Trueblood is a massive tackle with adequate initial quickness and agility and above-average body control. He has a nice kick step to get out to pick up the edge rusher, but he is a bit of a heel clicker when he tries to slide and shuffle with the speed rush around the pocket. He has long arms and knows how to get a fit and steer opponents by the pocket. He is not a natural knee bender and struggles to keep his pad level down to leverage blocks, but he has so much mass that he can simply engulf opponents most of the time.

The article on WaPo's Insider blog about signing Trueblood has an interesting paragraph at the end of it.

Washington hasn’t made a strong push to re-sign 2012 starter Tyler Polumbus, whose contract expired Tuesday. Polumbus had received indication that the Redskins had interest in bringing him back, a person with knowledge of the situation said. But so far, Washington hadn’t extended an offer, and Polumbus was scheduled to visit the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday.

REDSKINS SIGN T JEREMY TRUEBLOOD

LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. – The Washington Redskins announced today that they have signed unrestricted free agent tackle Jeremy Trueblood. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Trueblood (6-8, 320) was originally drafted out of Boston College by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the second round (59th overall) of the 2006 NFL Draft. He has appeared in 101 regular season games with 84 starts during his career.

In 2012, Trueblood appeared in nine games with one start for the Buccaneers. He played in 14 games with seven starts in 2010, helping the Buccaneers average 125.1 rushing yards per game, third-most in the NFC (eighth in the NFL).

Trueblood, 29, played collegiately at Boston College from 2002-05, starting in 36 games and twice being named second-team All-ACC.

Trueblood was born on May 10, 1983, in Indianapolis. He attended the city’s Cathedral H.S., where he helped lead the school to back-to-back State 4A championships in 1998 and 1999.

So far, the only engulfing going on in DC, is that ex-Buccaneers have been engulfing the Redskins roster every since Bruce came here.
Maybe we can pick up Cadillac Williams, or another Ex-Buc, Albert Haynesworth.
Why did Trueblood only start one game last year ? Injury ?

My only memory of Kehl in 2012, was a crucial, bone-headed penalty on a special teams play he made that was very detrimental. So, either you're being sarcastic, or I missed out on some major "Highlight Kehl Reel"
