Would Green catch Griffin?

Darryl is going to need a redbull to catch that griffen.

I remember being at the Super Bowl against the Raiders in '83-84. Marcus Allen runs away from the entire Redskins defense for a long touchdown......it all unfolded right in front of me. I remember looking EVERYWHERE for Green......cause back then we just EXPECTED him to catch anyone and everyone from behind........but this time it didn't happen. You can imagine how dejected I was.

Having said that.......I believe that if he has the angle he catches RGIII. In a head to head sprint.....who knows? But it'd sure be fun to see, huh?

Would love to see head-to-head in both of their primes, but I do think Green catches RGIII. Part of that may be sentimental; after all Green wears my favorite number and he's the reason I met my husband. I love RGIII... but Green.. just not sure there will be anyone like him in my book.

No doubt Darrell catches him. He was one of the best at running people down from behind (Ask Dickerson & TD about that)

yeah, i now feel silly for thinking green couldn't catch him. i don't think there's a chance Griffin outruns him...

i'd still like to see them in a race.

Wow, I never thought about that. You made me pull up that play on youtube, and throughout the whole run, I tried to locate Darrell or Darryl, or Darrel, or whatever his name is, and I identified every single player who was visible on the screen throughout the entire play, and I could not even find him. Was he even on the field for that play ? Gotta think he either was not on the field for some reason, or he must have gotten flattened by a huge lineman, and blocked out of the play, or tangled up behind a crowd somewhere. Anyone know ?

A better question that would be easier to prove is who would win a Griffin and Banks footrace

You can throw Santana into the mix - he's lost a step I'm sure, but out of pads I bet he could at least make a competition out of it.
