Oooof, that's a rough one, Brian. Good luck. We wussed out when they gave us the option at the hospital.
 
Moved into our "newly renovated" apartment, only to find most of the work was incomplete, and it still needs a lot of work. The leasing company was nice enough to inform us of this at 10am the day we were supposed to move in. Everyone is blaming everyone else, and we don't have any answers at this point. Happy Monday!
 
Sounds like a reasonable reason to ask for reduced rent to me :)

This is why I think we have too many restrictions in the workplace. All it takes is one person to find a reason to be offended, and they can pull the rug out from under you. And a lot of people just look for a reason. Glad it all worked out.
