Guess my thinking was that if they DO really suck, they'll make changes that might result in reducing that suckage. Another few more 7 or 8 win seasons outta Big D that are just close to being good enough to keep the status happily quoing along wouldn't hurt my feelings is all I'm saying.

Oh I got what you were saying and that's totally cool. I just thought I'd emphasize the point that despite all the group hugging going on lately I still do, in fact, hate the Cowboys with the intensity of a thousand burning suns.

Having rooted for the Cowboys since they started as a franchise, I will be a Cowboys fan until I die. I will now root for the Redskins as well. Not sure what I will do when they play each other. It is similar to the fact that I root for UT except when they play Baylor. I am more a Baylor fan than anything. This situation is truly problematic for me. RG3 represents everything Baylor. For the first time in my life I will probably root against the Cowboys when they play the Redskins.

Whew, tough call RG3, I went to UMD '67-'71 when athletics really sucked (Lefty, I think didn't show til '71) and there were a few other things going on at the time that garnered the focus of my attention.

Conflict of rootage doesn't exist for me.
