Nascar should really consider more prime time races. We have MNF, maybe we could have WNR.

From a financial standpoint, it would expose a lot of newer viewers to the sport, and would bring in a ton of money.
 
Very good point - I love night racing and you can be sure that the powers that be in NASCAR noticed the ratings for Monday night. It wouldn't surprise me to see about three or four races added to Saturday night (or some other night) in the future.

Middle of the week would be difficult for fans who travel a few hours (or more) for a race. I doubt that would happen.

Either way, the ratings for Monday night were impressive. I'm sure NASCAR will look at Sat., Sun., and Mon. nights and holidays as well.

Can't wait til JGR goes back to Chevy or gives Ford a shot. I absolutely loathe rooting for Toyota on Sundays. But hey, it's kinda like Deion Sanders...I hated him until he got to DC, then I was forced to root for him while he was in B&G.

He only posts here when he's banned over there? Sheesh.

By the by, what does one have to do to get banned on an internet message board anyway? Seems... unusual.
 
Well, the so-called rules are inconsistent and those who are favored get some leniency. I've never been banned and there are some nice folks in all forums. This is home for me.

Just tell a certain pompous moderator or 2, he is a piece of **** and he can perform certain acts that are not appropriate. Then when he continues to say things about you after you have been banned, you call the legal department of the organization that runs the site and tell them if they don't want a liable suit they better remove the slanderous posts against you.

Yeah, I phrased my question wrong. Not so much putting the onus on the poster, rather the mods. I get benning someone if they are being abusive or threatening or exhibiting other dangerous behaviors, but why else would you ask someone to leave? Weird.

Hi there. :)

I fully admit that my adult ADD cares for faster-moving discussions than we usually have here, but I'll be back when I want logic and analysis rather than argument....or when I want to argue with Mike. ;)

Looking forward to the weekend at Phoenix. Fun track, and the RFR Fords usually run well there. I would like to see a race there NOT come down to fuel mileage, but we usually do OK in that department too. Hopefully Ricky Stenhouse can get his Nationwide season going, and we'll see our first backflip of the year on Sunday.

As I said, I like the back and forth of a larger board generally. But I like the QUALITY of posts and posters here. I've been a prodigal BGO son, and I expect that to continue, but that's not at all a slight to what's going on here. I hope it's not ever taken that way.

And I admit I've been one of those who's benefitted from said leniency. It's like the Jordan Rules. When you have superstars, you cater to them. ;)
