Will we sign Josh Norman?

Junior Galette has been campaigning online all day to sign him.

Norman reportedly brought a lawyer and financial advisor with him to the park today. It certainly appears that this is much more than a "get to know you" meeting.

Heard Josh Norman also has family members with him at Redskins Park.

Apparently One of those family members is Josh Norman's mom. That doesn't happen for routine visits.

Hmm. This is one that I won't be comfortable with until after it works out. Other than pure shut down corners, which he ain't, very good corners can very much be a product of the teams system.

I personally feel that with another two solid years of successful and impactful drafting and growth, this team could be ready to compete for a conference title.

My fear is if this type of splash signing interferes with or impedes our ability to continue to make the strides we began taking this past season. (For example, retaining key pieces that we feel could be part of our long term success and future).

All in all, I desperately hope that we haven't lost sight of our long term vision. I hope we aren't falsely sitting around a meeting room suddenly believing that we are better than we actually are.

There is still a lot of work to do, and if we're jumping into the Norman sweepstakes with the approach that we are a piece or two away, I think we'll end up regretting this one.

I think it's certainly an opportunity worth exploring, not one I think you necessarily go all in for.

As CB Josh Norman is with Redskins, Saints are making strong push to sign him, per sources. Decision down to Redskins and Saints.
