Make sure to scroll to the bottom where they have their projections for the 2025 draft order.

I'll spare you the wait - they have Washington drafting #5. Agree? Disagree?

No, I'm not asking for your projected record for the 2024 season...yet.

I believe that a range of 8-12 is realistic. For the purposes of this poll I will vote Top 10 but think it’s a 50/50 between Top 10 and 11-15. I would be highly disappointed with a Top 5…until the draft rolls around.

Yeah, I’m in the same boat. I think it will be around 10. This past year, 7 wins put you in the range of picking 8-11. It’s not a stretch to see them picking in this range and is probably the most likely outcome.

I picked the top 10 which means we will end up picking 22nd and having a solid playoff run because I suck at all things prediction wise.

Neophyte - changed the title to make it clearer what thread was about

Thanks Boone.

The poll was something of an after thought that made sense after I put up the OP. I should have changed the title then.

We play five of our division games in the final nine weeks of the year. That includes twice vs. Dallas and twice vs. Philly, whom we have struggled with quite a bit recently. I think where we pick might be dependent on how we fair in the first eight weeks of the year and how quickly a brand new roster with a rookie QB can gel. Another 1-5 or 0-6 performance in the division guarantees us picking in the top ten I think. If we can find a way to go 3-3 or better, I think we will pick in the middle of the pack.

I'm predicting another 2012 type season so we should be picking around 20.

I think we are going to get a huge boost from the new coaching staff, lots of talent upgrades (especially on defense), and a more dangerous QB under center. I think we catch a lot of teams by surprise and win 9-10 games. I know that's a big prediction, but I just think there is a ton of energy with this squad and we may be surprised at how quickly they can play dangerous football.

Where does Washington draft in 2025? That's an easy one. The Washington Commanders are based in Ashburn, VA. Now, if you're being tricky the draft is being held in Chicago. So, the answer is either Ashburn or Lambeau Field.

Isn't Lambeau in Wisconsin or am I missing the nuance

It’s the double twist of making a joke about not understanding and proving yourself smarter than everyone while getting it wrong 😝

I put 11-15, simply because I think 6-11 or 7-10 is very realistic.

New Roster
New Offense
New Defense
New QB

So many factors that I think a lot of things are possible. A lot of 'NEW' in that building and all of those things, realistically, need time to mesh and come together. That said, looking at the overall roster, and the improvements that have been made, i don't think 9 wins is impossible.

To me Washington needs additional top tier athletic talent in the draft. I want to see on field improvement both in effort and productivity but I still want to see pick no lower than 10-12 in 2025.

I want to see this team have a chance to pick up a potential core performer on the OL or at CB if Forbes and the holdovers don't show well this upcoming season.

Having a pick that high allows us to take one of the top performers at the position(s) in question.

It doesn't happen every year, but the difference between picking at #10 and #20 can often be a big divide in talent at certain spots.
