What does success look like in 2026?

I really want to see double digit wins preferably 12 and 4 and the NFC East title

Well... yeah... that would look like success alright lol.

For something like that to happen, we literally would have to beat every team on the schedule not named the Eagles, Seahawks, 49ers, and Rams. I expect us to lose those 5 games (we may surprise, but we will be expected to lose) and then be perfect the rest of the way. I don't think double digit wins is likely in 2026. Of course, anything is possible.

I think this is a 9-8 or 10-7 team at best this season. That's just a BRUTAL first half of the season. Will be ecstatic if we somehow manage to go 4-4 and I'll be thinking playoffs if we make it through that gauntlet at .500 or better.

I truly believe we are going to enter into our CONTENDER era starting in 2027 though. This defense is going to be absolutely nasty for the next few years and we get Jayden another weapon or two next offseason and we are on a gravy train with biscuit wheels baby!

I'm not a betting man. But I actually bet we split with the Eagles, and go at worst 1-2, and more likely 2-1 against the Seahawks, 49ers and Rams.

I think the Seahawks are my #1 projection to fall from grace. They've lost pieces. I don't think they can recapture the magic they had last year.

I think I posted earlier I want 11 wins, and anything less would be a disappointment. I think I amend that to also include beating some of the better teams. I think we're good team. If Daniels is healthy, there's no reason why we can't go 50/50 with good teams and beat the ones we're supposed to beat.

I mean, we can make guesses all we want, but Vegas deals with odds and we will not be favored to win any of those games. What you are basically predicting is that we will win a bunch of games we aren’t supposed to and get to a double-digit win total. That could certainly happen, but I think it’s hard to argue it’s much more than wishful thinking.

Yeah, but Vegas is wrong half the time.

And only 1/4 of its season prediction over/unders are within 2 games of the final result.

The purpose of Vegas odds is to get people to bet both sides of the line and we were miserable last year so the predictions for this year have to reflect that. Or people would pound one side and that’s not what they want.

I also think it’s possible by the time we get to some of those games we might be favored

The NFL is a week to week league. It’s impossible to tell what’s going to happen. Unlike the NBA when the final 4 teams are preordained

I don’t think it’s just wishful thinking. Unless there is a rash of injuries, I really think we’re a good team. Mostly because I think Daniels is a top 5 QB when healthy.

Completely revamped defense, more traditional offense, healthy Jayden, and now at least more stability on the offensive weapons front.

We will have a better roster than in 2024. Maybe even better QB play and almost certainly a better defense.

So I think 11 wins and beating some good teams is not out of the question. And I think in year 3 with a franchise QB it should kindof be the expectation.

Vegas isn't interested in being right. It's interesting in making money. Those two things do not always align.

Last I looked, Vegas had the over-under at 7.5 wins. I would take the over on that, but I don’t think they’re that far off either.

They need to start out at least close to .500 or it's going to be over early.

Well unless they pull out the last half 7-2 or better.

Bagging groceries and telling the customers how he's going to do it differently next time.

I am actually going to go contrarian here. I believe Quinn probably was signed to a 4 year deal (the terms of his contract have not been disclosed at least not that I've been able to find). I think Adam Peters green-lighting replacing both coordinators in a single offseason is a signal that they will give Quinn his full contract before making a decision on him. Barring a disastrous 2026 season (I would characterize that as 5 wins or less), I think he gets through the 2027 season to prove he has the team back to a winning tradition. So, is he on the proverbial 'hot seat'? I would give that a qualified yes - because I do think a 2nd consecutive horrific season given the improved talent and a healthy Jayden would put an end to AP's patience. But barring that kind of terrible outcome, I think he'll get this year and the next.
