Forgive if there are other threads, but I miss this one from my ES days.

I just finished Mickey7 by Edward Ashton and will start the sequel, Antimatter Blues, shortly. This book was fantastic scifi and is currently being adapted by Bong Joon-ho (who did the movie Parasite and Snowpiercer) to a movie called Mickey17.

Also finished Interior Chinatown, which has been adapted to a tv series that starts later this month on Hulu. Definitely recommend it but it's an odd read as it read like a TV script most of the time.

I started one called the Reading Thread back in ‘22 in this same forum but ultimately abandoned it due to a very obvious lack of interest.

I’m currently reading City in Ruins by Don Winslow. It is his third and last in his Danny Ryan trilogy.

Read the first two of the Danny Ryan series. Keep meaning to go back for that one.

Also read Six Years by Harlan Coben last month while on vacay. Typical Harlan Coben book, easy to read and digest.

I was first introduced to Winslow as an author when I read The Force (great novel). Then The Border, California Fire & Life, and ultimately the Danny Ryan series.

Very talented writer and storyteller.

Just finished David Baldacci "The Edge" (6:20 Man series). Fiction
Before that "Thunderstruck" and "The Splendid and the Vile" by Erik Larsen. Non-fiction

I'm a fan of Erik Larsen and strongly recommend "The Devil in the White City".

The Edge is in my queue. Liked the first one.

I am a devout junk food reader (fiction). I read to relax and started with the Hardy Boys. 🤣

in my older years,i have become a rock music member biography/ww2 history fanatic.not a fan of fiction much except tv.

I love these threads.
I just finished "Lay Down my Sword and Shield" by James Lee Burke and am listening to "Clete" another one James Lee Burke. I read it years ago, but I'm pretty much a sucker for anything that anything Will Patton narrates He could read a grocery list and I'd be enthralled.
I'm about half-way through "Plum Island" by John Corey.

I love those. Very powerful reads.
