Welcome to BGO!

I've been hesitant to try going to any sporting events the past few years, because I had my leg amputated and have to ride a scooter around, but I might have to go to the Atlanta game next year. It's only 2 hours away and all I need is to get my wife out of work for a day. I guess that I'll need to get an end of the row seat though. Hopefully it's ok for me to park a small scooter there too. That's why we haven't done it though. Too many questions.

I work on an Inpatient Rehab unit and we take care of a lot of patients who've just gone through an amputation. That is quite a life change to go through. I think if you contact the stadium they can give you a lot of assistance. I know, from attending Charlotte Football Club matches at Bank of America Stadium (where the Panthers play), that there are accomodations for folks with all kinds of disabilities. I'm sure if you contact the stadium management directly they can guide you.

Awesome! Goskins10 & I plan on going! They rent wheelchairs at the Benz, so maybe that's an option for you.

There is plenty of very good accessible seating. My ex-girlfriends daughter is in a wheelchair and we were able to get accessible seating. Easy entrance, all elevators and help getting to a from your seats. You will be able to take your scooter all the way in. We can all still sit together also! It is a very nice stadium. Let's make it happen.

I am in Macon. Which direction from Atlanta are you? If we are close we could maybe ride together. Make it easier. I will PM my direct contact info. Or you can talk to skinsmarydu

I'm driving south from Tennessee actually so that's the opposite direction but that's a good idea if it was possible. My scooter is a lot smaller than a wheelchair also, I bought it for flying to Europe last year. It folds up and fits in the overhead on the airplane. Everybody asks me where I got it because it's so small and I get to skip the line in the airport too, which seems to be the only benefit of having my leg chopped off lol.

A very warm ‘Welcome’ to our newest member skinsinparadise from the great state of Florida. Hail!

(I hope you live up to the hype, brother. A very high bar has been established.)
Are we sure it's the same SIP?! :p What's the other team you support?

Yep and City on Sunday. I did have someone impersonate me on twitter which was weird. So lol I guess not crazy to do it here. But its me. :)

Assuming you are referencing the premier league? If so Liverpool. Good to see you. lol, you can quiz me on anything.
It's an SIP sighting!!!! So glad to see you! Hope all is well with you my friend. Will so miss the annual mock draft! Maybe by next year we can pick it back up again.

Just fyi guys, we do a Washington mock Draft contest here. See the stickied contest thread in the Sons of Washington forum.

Good to see, you too. Looking forward to do the annual mock draft whenever it comes back. Cheers!
Are you referencing the mock draft thread where different folks pick a team and draft for them? I never participated in that but I know it was popular.
