Way too early 2024 Wins Projection

Over or under 6.5 wins for Washington in 2024?

It worries me that Forbes chicken arms look thicker than Daniel’s chicken arms
 
I think the team depending on QB play from whomever they draft will set the teams record. I think a rookie season similar to what Howell had last season gives the team 4-6 wins, a season with half the sacks and turnovers gives them 6-9 wins and if the Rookie plays like an all pro all season 9-11 wins.
 
I think it’s about more than QB play. Last year’s defense was awful. It was almost impossible to win given their play. If the D improves to a bottom third defense from a bottom 2 defense that alone would account for three additional wins.
 
no argument about the awful defense, but if we get 21 ints and 75 sacks next year the team no matter how good the defense is wont have a much better record

Agreed, but just to be annoying. If the defense was better then you wouldn't have seen (probably) those numbers of sacks and interceptions, but the game wouldn't have been in jeopardy and the offense playing such a desperate game of catch up. On the other, other hand, maybe we would have because Bienemy was that pass crazy. So, who knows?
 
EB is gone. The sacks and interceptions will be halved from last season.

Bieniemy was the worst OC since Joe Walton was here in 1980, the year before we turned it around.

We would not have had 21 INTs and 75 Sacks if the Defense had performed as well as expected. A lot of those stats were the result of Sam pushing to make something happen because the other offense was running roughshod over us.
