The Washington Commanders are back on the practice fields of Ashburn for Day 12 of training camp. The team hosted the Miami Dolphins on Friday night, and have only been doing walk throughs. That changes today with the team preparing to visit the Lions on Saturday afternoon. There won’t be any joint practices in Detroit, so expect more pads this week as the team continues to evaluate the roster and settle position battles.
Expect to see several new faces on the field today as the Commanders continue to tweak their roster due to injuries, competition, and retirements. Undrafted rookie Drew Stevens has won the kicking battle after veteran Jake Moody doinked a 29-yard field through the uprights in the first preseason game.
