The Blind Pig crew talks up some of BGO's current 'hot topics' including (groan) whether the team will change the name and/or logo, OTAs, and some exciting Front Office additions.

This organization is laying one hell of a foundation for success brick by brick. Front office and coaching acquisitions have been inspired choices that should pay considerable dividends well into the future. The simple fact that talented individuals desire to come to Washington for more than outsized financial compensation is amazing to me. Boy, have times changed. My only criticism is why it has taken Harris, Peters, etal so long? 😉

All of the free agent acquisitions and all of the drafted players seem to be out of the same mold; smart, tough, mature leaders. If Jayden Daniels hits, and I think he will, he will be the on-field cornerstone the team hasn’t had in what seems like forever. (Maybe he will even soothe the soul of the Drake Maye army.)

I, for one, am currently luxuriating on my own little Fantasy Island. Please don’t pinch me, if this is all a dream I don’t want to awakened.

In regards to the name, I'm with Neo, scrap a nickname, nothing can nor will wipe the taste of PC BS out of my mouth that caused the change to begin with. I'd rather have kept football team than some moniker that the fan base overall will never agree on. The FO moves, tough to judge as I'm not versed enough in any of these people hired to comment but it seems we're hiring different perspectives which is important instead of the circle jerk of people who either didn't care or were nothing but yes men to the midget lucifer in the past.
