Hi everyone. Ken (Burgundy Burner) has asked me to share this information with you. He wanted all of his friends on the site to know about something that just happened.

Ken was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday for what was believed to be a small stroke. He had originally hoped to be released this Saturday.

Unfortunately, he's had a setback and just went in for a second MRI.

In addition to being a great member here and a huge Redskins fan, he's also an incredible person.

Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers over the next few days.

And BB, we want you back at 100% health quickly! Get better brother.

We love you Ken! Thinking good thoughts for you brother. There is no more important member here. Guys & gals, please let Ken know what he means to us in this thread...

Mike - thank you so much for letting us know!

BB best wishes and prayers brother

Thoughts and prayers go out to BB and his family!

Rest up Big Guy and get well soon!

Update: I'm trying to find something positive to type. He's a fighter. That's a huge positive. And that is what will lead him to recovery. I've passed along everyone's well wishes and support. Please keep praying for him.

All the best Ken on a quick recovery and seeing you back to doing what you do best - driving a lot of the content on our Redskins site :D

This is sad to hear. I am definitely praying for Ken to be healed and for the Drs that they can do what is necessary.

Ken, if you check in here, make sure you are advocating for being transferred to an Inpatient Rehab unit. It's a special setting with nursing, PT, OT, and Speech Therapy that is the best place to be if you've had a stroke. They do amazing things. Scream bloody murder until your insurance company approves it - that's what you need and deserve. Sending positive energy your way brother.

Update: Some positive news. Ken says things are now the same. I interpret that as things aren't getting any worse, so that's great news.

He's unable to get onto BGO, but is looking forward to watching game 7 of the NBA Finals tomorrow night.

John, I passed along the inpatient rehab suggestion to him.

Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and prayers. I know he isn't very happy right now, but it sounds like he might be out of the woods.

Thanks.

Ken is the London Fletcher of this site.

Update: Great news. For the first time since this ordeal began, Ken has said that he is now feeling better. That's fantastic.
