The TV Show suggestion thread

Must...refrain...from...Goal's...Mom...joke...

Shut up.

My guide says tonight is the series premier

Yeah, that's correct. We don't have HBO, and the positive reviews I've been reading have almost been enough to sway me into ordering it. If I come back here tomorrow and everyone is raving about it, that might be enough to push me over the edge. Or, I may just order the episodes individually via Amazon, we'll see.

If you hadn't been so rude, I would have invited you over to watch at my house!

You live too far away.

Besides, I'm deeply disappointed in you. BB started a thread this morning with a built-in joke for you, and I can't figure out if it's too easy or what...

I have no idea what you are talking about! Jugs...he knows what you mean!

Gave House of Cards a second try this weekend, and really enjoyed it. Didn't really give it much of a try the first time. Its really good, if you can get past the first 10 minutes.

Watched True Detectives last night and it could go either way. They did a pretty good job of setting up the whole season, but the 1st episode was non-eventful. Good acting, good production, definitely interested, but for those of you who want action...the season opener ain't it.

The ads for that looked really good - which network is that on again?

I really like HOC and totally agree with the bumpy start. The very opening scene with the dog does matter though eventually.

FYI- Robin Wright, who plays Claire Underwood (and won the GG for best supporting actress last night) was Jenny in Forest Gump. And she looked awesome last night!

Like a supermodel's vagina, let's all give a warm welcome to Leonardo DiCaprio.

- Tina Fey, Golden Globes

The Season 4 Trailer for Game of Thrones is out...CAN'T WAIT!!

She absolutely deserved that award. And she's hot!

Season 2 starts in a month.

Yes. Yes she is. She and Diane Lane are my over 40 loves. Both of them are gettin' it done.

That's what imdb is for, dumbass. :)

Diane Lane, not so hot anymore. Did you see her present at the Golden Globes? Blech.

I like to try and remember on my own! Its like a trivia game with myself, against...myself. ;)

Ah. I gave that shit up a long time ago. :)

And bit your tongue. Diane and I have a magical future together.

You better make your move quickly, she's OLD.

Robin Wright is one of my favorite actresses. She was in one of Gary Oldman and Sean Penn's better movies, State of Grace.

Am I the only one who watched the much anticipated True Detectives"?

We are about to watch it now.

Edit: or not, hate when navix is down. Grrrr
