I have power and a nice warm house I am sitting in.

Today is a workout day. I bought the online version of the P90X (and many other) workout plans and am foolishly diving in with my first hour workout in the original P90X collection. I can feel the pain already.

I got a decent night's sleep.

Due to timing issues with the expiration and extension of my Finnish residence permit I was in serious jeopardy of being legally unable to attend my son’s wedding in NYC in late October. I applied for the extension 2 weeks ago and it was estimated by the immigration service yesterday that the time for a decision was between 3-9 months. 3 months on the nose would give me maybe a week to make travel arrangements. Maybe. But there was a chance.

1. Today I received a confirmed approval for another 4 years. 😎
2. So much for algorithmic estimations. 🤣
3. Time to go suit shopping. 🥳

I'm alive, and studying more Nvidia this am with a cappuccino in my hand. That I have the flexibility to work remotely here in Medellin. Went to Guatapé yesterday with my new girl. Doing some shopping today for her two year old son.

Finding out how smart this lady is. Not to mention she is always tidying up and keeping the house organized, like me. Not to mention she is absolutely gorgeous and takes great care of herself, as well as me. Every morning she cuts up fresh mango, strawberries and giant grapes for my breakfast...which I love!

Training camp starts today!

My daughter started a new teaching position this week... been out of work for almost a year.
My AC died last night, so I'm happy I had a mini split installed in the garage some time back, and had a cool place to sleep last night... the pooch joined me.
Was able to have a new AC system installed today.

I finished a massive garden project today.
We were able to spend time with my daughter and granddaughter over the weekend as they navigate a tough time.
I am healthy and strong and happy.

I am in a position to help my daughter financially as she goes through a tough divorce.
