NFL windows are typically short unless you have a transcendent QB, and Hurts is not one. PHI got lucky with injuries this year and with turnover differential, things that are hard to replicate.
They will need to find the cap space to pay all these defenders within the next few years.
On offense, they will need to replace Lane Johnson soon, and replace Kellen Moore immediately. WRs will also need big $$$. Backs that go over 2K yards usually don't get close again, so don't pencil in Barkley for another monster year just yet.

Every good team needs a major obstacle to overcome. I think PHI's win tonight will galvanize WAS to build a team that is Eagle-proof during Jayden's rookie deal.
 
I was ambivalent about who I wanted to win this TBH….. effing hate eagles fans, but love how they built their team. Very 80s Gibbs-like. Seeing them just DOMINATE makes the 55-burger they dumped on us not look so bad…..

Fact is that the East is the Beast now , and the Igglez have a winning formula that will only make us stronger to compete.

Only iron sharpens the blade. Can’t wait to see what tools we add to the shed.
 
This looked like the biggest mismatch of any SB that I've seen. Even the Bills were in that one vs Dallas until it got comical. This one was 34-0 with the Chiefs only having 1 first down in the late 3rd quarter.
 
PE were dominant. Halftime show sucked
 
Now we all have to hope that Barkley loses a step before the next season starts.

Also, Rose Man needs to pick a bunch of scrubs in the draft.
 
Reid called a terrible game. It should become quickly evident that Mahomes had no pocket yet Reid forced Mahomes to stand in there all night. No roll outs keeping in a TE or my favorites from the Gibbs era... max protect or call a sprint bomb.

He tried to rely on Mahomes fire drills making magic out of mud. Mahomes quickly had happy feet running into his own OL taking sacks and throwing pickles.

I feel like KC overkill tried to stop Barkley too much and didn't have a shadow on Hurts. You cant just expect to shutdown Barkley = win especially when you can't score. KCs DB's looked lost. Hell even Jahan looked good.

Yeah its random the way the NFL plays out sometimes.

Seeing KC's QB and OL get abused all game makes me feel better about ours that for damn sure. I know many think our OL was atrocious (not me) but yesterday showed the DL is important too. Parsons and Garrett to the rescue.

Mahomes was walking the bench saying good year to everyone BUT my parlay secret weapon Samaje

 
And the presser with Hurts holding the trophy...he looked like he had to force a smile for the cameras.

Our QB smiles all the fuckin' time. He got us from nowhere to damn near everything in JUST ONE SEASON, HIS FIRST ONE.

I absolutely love that.
