I would stress the word "initial" here. Where architecture starts and where it ends up are often two different things.

The new stadium is slated to open in 2030. Construction could begin in 2027.

I really like how it looks modern but the shape and overall aesthetic echoes of the original RFK stadium. Seamlessly fits in with the Capital skyline.

I have no doubt this place is going to be world class. I intend to be there for the first game no matter what it costs.

WOW they knocked this out of the park. Beautiful and classy with a nod to RFK that fits in perfectly with the monuments.

Looks fantastic.

Classic DC architecture, in the original location, a nod to the old RFK roof, and it'll be loaded with all of the modern amenities and conveniences that new stadiums have.

I'm going to be so impatient for the next 4 seasons. lol

I like it, especially the colonnade aspect of the design, and how it reminds of RFK. Great visuals for night games, with the DC skyline.
