Sources: Trump wants Commanders' new D.C. stadium named for him

A senior White House source said there have been back-channel communications with a member of the Commanders ownership group, led by Josh Harris, to express Trump's desire to have the $3.7 billion domed stadium in the nation's capital bear his name.

If it's named after anyone, it should be Joe Gibbs.

I’m happy, because this also shows that ownership isn’t locked into working with people they’ve worked with before. They had the other competing firm build our new locker room recently, it would’ve been easy to lean on those prior relationships and give them an edge in the pitching and bidding process. I’m just really glad to see that it was a real process they went through. We know the importance of that sort of culture on the football side, but even on the business side, that’s important in an organization.

Commanders are raising season-ticket prices for 2026​

Via Nicki Jhabvala of TheAthletic.com, the Commanders will be raising season-ticket prices in 2026.
While upper-bowl seats, which make up 25 percent of the season-ticket accounts, will remain unchanged, other seats will increase in price.

In justifying the increase, the team has cited an increased demand and the investment being made in the organization by ownership.
