The New BGO Arcade

Hey guys/gals... those of you that have been around awhile know that in the early days of BGO, we had a great flash game arcade built into the site. Adobe flash which is what all those old games were built on got retired and most forum software developers stopped even trying to offer arcade software. So we've been out of luck for 5+ years now.

I finally gave up trying to find a way to integrate games into the site and decided to build our own BGO Arcade site.

Welcome to the new BGO Arcade

Couple quick things. Unlike the days of the Wild West (ie... back when we had our old arcade software), most free games these days come with ads. I am *mostly* using games with either no ads at all, or very short ones.

When you visit the arcade, you'll notice you are actually traveling to to another website. When you get there you'll notice a very prominent 'Back to BGO' button. When you're done playing, click it and come right on back. It's really no different than going to a different page on the site.

When you visit the BGO Arcade for the first time, go ahead and click the 'Sign Up' button and get a log-in. As long as you check 'Remember Me' you should never have to log-in again. You can play 10 games or so before it forces you to register, but after that you'll need to do it. It will also help us to know folks are using the arcade.

I have loaded 1000+ games and we'll continue to expand the library. I'm trying to keep it relatively simple so there won't be a bunch of game categories, so if you play one you like, favorite it so you can find it easily the next time you play. All the games should be 'mobile friendly' and the site is pretty clean on a phone with mobile friendly controls.

You can get to the Arcade easily. Just click, well, the 'Arcade' button in the top nav bar.

Please play around when you get a chance and I would love to hear feedback. It's a new software and I'm still a novice with it.

I turned off the forced Arcade registration so anyone can play without logging in. If we have game competition/contests, you will have to sign up and log-in when you participate.
