Apparently he wanted to be a #1 guy, which he will be in Houston. Durant is said to be pretty upset about the trade.

Bad move for Harden. Rockets aren't going to pay THAT much more for him, and he will be in a worse situation. This opens up the West for the Lakers to take it.

Harden went HAM in his Rocket debut, setting the record for points & assists in a debut with a new team (37 & 12). I always thought that the Thunder were silly for featuring Durant & Westbrook instead of Durant & Harden, this only cements that. Just one game, but he got game, for sure!

Interesting stuff here - talk about a guy famous for all the wrong reasons - you almost feel badly for him, as he is forever compared to the best basketball player of all time, through no real fault of his own (besides possibly stretching the truth a bit about his leg injury).
