Jerry Sloan says he wants to return to coaching next season. He says he would prefer either Orlando or Charlotte.

He's 70? But he will find a new home quickly.
 
Orlando would be insane not to consider him. Strongly. Admittedly, I'm all in on Jerry Sloan, but I believe him to be one of the most underated coaches of all time.

I'm a big fan too, Goal.

But it's the older/younger thing. Do you want a guy for a max of five years? Or do you want a guy for ten years or longer?

It's a tough call. I suppose they have to ask Dwight.:frown2:
 
So what do you do now if you are the Lakers? How do you hang with OKC in the next few years?

Move Bynum? Move Gasol? Gasol's contract is a monster. I actually heard one broadcaster suggest using the amnesty provision on Gasol. That sounds foolish to me.

I think they have to go hard after Dwight. Bynum for Dwight. Kobe and Dwight could do it.
 
There's still time to catch the fourth quarter of the Pacers/Heat game.

It's tight, and should be a great finish.

Watching the Heat just pissed me off, seeing how much better they are than my Magic.

Depressing.

Heat/Celts would be good.
 
That was probably the best game I have seen all season. Both teams were executing on such a high level. That was a basketball clinic. Truly a joy to watch.
 
Is it possible the Spurs could be one of the all time great teams this year? They haven't lost since when? April 11 or something? Unreal.

Definitely possible. 19 wins in a row now.

I do remember Dallas winning 22 or 23 in a row a few years back, but those were regular season games.

The Spurs have now won 9 playoff games in a row. 2 different Lakers teams won 11 playoff games in a row.

In that context, yes, they are getting very close to something special.
 
Miami is favored by 8 1/2 tonight. That seems like a big number if Bosh isn't available.

Heck, that seems like a big number even if Bosh is avaiable.
