I mean does any one on the team really care about her two tweets in several months? Its so minimal.
 
lol, was only a matter of time. The moment she got her certification it was guaranteed to happen at some point before his second contract negotiation.

Now all that money will stay in the family. 3% of the guaranteed money from a potential $400M+ contract…she and her firm are gonna be doing alright lol

And that’s why the team needs to play nice with her even though her social media presence is prickly and awkward. And why the post-season “JD5 + Kliff year 3!” tweet, which was absolutely an attempt to gain some leverage on the situation which was already receiving speculation, is a red flag.

Navigating that relationship going forward is going to be a bit of a headache unless the team really starts surrounding him with talent and excelling to the point where there’s no drama and no questions about his future. And that level of production and success should be the goal, obviously.
 
If anyone wants to point out that this is why they knew the Commies should have taken Drake Maye, this is your chance to do so without me disagreeing.
 
Not that at all. For me, and many others, it was just the injury risk with Daniels and so far, it has played out that way 1 of 2 seasons.

The plus side for Daniels is that he has definitely looked like the better QB so far but if Maye keeps getting starts and Daniels keeps missing games Maye might actually get good too, while actually playing and probably winning with Vrabel running the show.
 
Prior to this past year, Daniels missed 0 starts in College or the NFL (per Google, so it might not be accurate.)

I don't really care about his mom being his agent. She might be a pain in the ass, but so are a lot of agents.
 
Jayden and his mom need to focus more on those Chunky Commercials IMO. Also, Biadasz is going to lose his job in those too.
 
Not a fan of this, but I can’t blame them one bit for keeping all that money in the family. Maybe they’ll take a little less when it comes time for that contract since they won’t be having to give a big chunk to an agent. And unlike with Terry’s agent, his mom probably won’t be trying to squeeze every single penny out of it to impress other potential clients. I still think this is a bad idea for Jayden, but it’s his choice. Hopefully she keeps their business off of social media and if so it could be a win win in the end.
 
Knew that was coming. Hate to see her learning on the job with her son but hoping it works out well. Jayden, if he plays well is anticipated to be the highest paid player in NFL history, along with the other QBs in his draft class.

However, imo there is a difference between how you handle yourself as an agent and as a concerned mother. Hope she understand how to walk that fine line.

Ironically it probably would have been even more controversial at the time if it had been his football agent that tweeted about “JD5 & Kliff year 3 incoming!” or whatever when there were rumors he may be moving on. That would be such an awkward overstep from a random agent

Because it was his mom it made waves here, but didn’t catch national attention.

So even if she remains sort of outspoken as his agent, it might continue to be excused nationally as she’s seen as understandably emotionally involved

Until it involves a contract negotiation or an expression of displeasure with the org, I guess.
 
Its going to be very interesting to see how those dominoes fall.

At this point there are 4 guys who all need to be paid in the same time frame and at this point all of them can make a case for why they deserve the most.
Who gets paid first and who waits till the end to get the inevitable inflation raise.
 
Jayden just needs to focus on playing football at an elite level and the rest is irrelevant.
 
Just glad to hear the decision was made to move the Fanatics Flag Football Classic from Saudi Arabia to LA. Still not a fan of JD playing in it at all but at least he won't be headed to that part of the world with the current situation.
