To me that's obvious. Even everyone on this forum growing up. You want to play all the time. I couldn't imagine being healthy even in my neighborhood, watching everyone play, and you just sit for no reason or because you are so fragile that you are scared that you might get hurt.

Someone like Jayden doesn't think like that. He's not that far removed from being the best player on the field. In his mind, he wants to get back out there with his brothers, throw for 300, run for 100, dominate the game, and be the most talked about player in the league again.

My suspicion is they're comparing it to, ooeration patience and no pressure no diamonds and suggesting there are parallels but i could be wrong.

Personally i'd be concerned with the mentality if the coaches, or Jayden, didn't want him back on the field if he's healthy.

Of course, the 'if he's healthy' is important, but I would question the true winner of a player if they were willing to sit back and watch to 'protect' themselves.

My only problem with this video is that he kinda kept his left arm pretty stiff the whole time like he was still wearing a brace or a sling. He seemed like he wasn't trying to bend it much so as a coach, I probably wouldn't play him until I see him being able to be more loose and flexible with that arm

He’s always keeps his left arm tucked in while he throws. Go back to last year and watch his highlights on his throws. That’s just part of his throwing motion. I do agree that if he has any restrictions, he should not be playing. But that part of his throwing motion is still the same.

The one play I hated was 3rd and ten and three defenders waited to catch the receiver two yards past the first down marker. No one tried to tackle him at the catch point which would have left them short.

I know that JD has been out many games this year, 6 games I think? 33% of the season? That's hard for everybody to stomach and had a huge impact on our effectiveness this year. I understand there has been a lot of other conditions such as the amount of injuries we have experienced overall. I hope he gets healthy and comes back strong. I have no doubt about his capabilities, but pre-draft? I was worried about his durability.

I'm watching Drake Maye tonight on Monday Night Football with the Patriots against the Giants and in New England and he is looking pretty solid.

The 2024 quarterback draft class is doing very well, for the most part, this year.

I just read an article talking about how one of the prime reasons Daboll was fired was because Dart got hurt on another designed QB run.

There is precedence for firings when you keep running your QB on designed runs (not scrambles) in spite of repeated injury. Dart kept on going to the "tent" and Daboll kept calling QB runs.

I think if Daniels runs less, he will get injured less. They need to figure out how to make that happen, and it is definitely a doable thing. I still take JD5 over Maye, QB to QB. The problem here is Maye is asked to do dramatically less. It's not even close - especially when you look at 2024 JD and 2025 Maye. JD carried a bad defense and an average OL - and took that team all the way to the NFCCG. I don't think we should say Maye is better... yet. Both of their careers are still young.
