The Jayden Daniels Tracker

Honestly keep him out a few games at this point. He has clearly been hampered this entire year. We ain't making the playoffs.

I'm not ready to go there yet. I still would like to see how we look, fully healthy, and time to knock off the rust. I think that we still have a major run in us

I'm with you. If we can get that offense back together healthy before Detroit (or even Seattle), I would like to see if they could make some noise...

Maybe hot take but hearing "they don't want to risk it" when holding a player out kind of muddies the situation to me. Risk what exactly? He is either healthy enough to play. You are always "risking" it once the season starts because most players are usually never "100%" anyway. Now if what they meant was if he played, he would be playing with a bad hammy and the risk is too big to send him out there with a bad hammy? Ok fine, but sometimes I get annoyed at how these things are worded by the media.

So now he is out. Again. Other then Jayden blowing out his knee in the opener this season could not have gone any worse. This is like the Snyder years, eliminated and playing out the string before Halloween. Only now the key to the franchise has regressed and now has an injury history.

I honestly thought all this was behind us once Little Danny set sail for England. We just can't have nice things.

I bet the producers of Monday Night Football are loving this matchup. Not going to be the barn burner they all imagined during the offseason.

Eh.

Many who have been complaining have said things like good teams find ways to win. That may be true. At least out up good fights!

So, here is the thing: this team needs to face adversity and see what it’s made of, plus see the quality of its coaching. No excuses. Maybe you don’t need to win those games but if you are going to win super bowls it’s not magic when the org is top to bottom new (!!!). Harris doesn’t get to wave a magic wand and pick the best people in the world. Maybe mistakes were made; maybe not. These times are where we find out.

On that chart, isn’t a low % of “missed yards” a good thing? Wouldn’t that mean that Dart is doing great in that statistic? I must be missing something…

But yeah, that dropped % for Jayden is wild. Feels like a few+ dropped passes per game are stalling drives.

Dart has a high % of “missed yards”, the highest at 35% or so. Not sure how it’s measured tbh.

You may have been looking at Russ Wilson’s NYG logo on the chart

That’s exactly what I was doing! Thanks :)

This means that Jayden is leaving the most yards on the field by missing throws, correct?

No, check the X and Y axis again, he’s nothing special in that category right now but he’s suffering the most from drops. Even more than Trevor Lawrence despite the fact that Brian Thomas Jr’s drops issue is an extremely highly visible issue with their team right now (and some of their other WR’s as well). It’s like the entire narrative around JAX’s offensive struggles right now. And yet you hear about our WR injuries in regards to Jayden, but not the drops from the guys who are healthy and playing. Just really highlights how narrative-driven our perspectives on teams are.

I normally agree with this as I think that Jayden was good to go against Atlanta and they held him out but this one is a little different as you tend to be cautious with hsmmys because if you come back just a little early then one movement can cause him to be out a month or more. Just look right up the highway to Lamar who has been out a long time with his hammy.

I think that they didn't even want him to fully try to test it this week. Just rule him out early and let him rest it for a week and see where it's at. I also think that they don't trust Jayden because they feel like he's going to always lie just to play

OK my bad. I was looking at the top and the bottom but didn't see the left side. I was actually asking because I saw someone do a video yesterday saying that we lead the league in dropped passes so the chart through me off at first but now it makes sense. Thank you

Some people were making the comparison earlier. It’s not really apples to apples given opponents

Hope that Jayden doesn't turn into RGIII all over again?! Great as a rookie but played injured throughout his brief career.
