Let me say one thing our defense sucks our oline needs help and our wr drop too many passes but we are in every game and can win in the playoffs if he continues to play like an assassin. But man please fix the defense so we can dominate teams

If Peters and company can pull off another off season like last year, we should see wide spread improvements. After all, he didn't have a lot to work with and ha to build the staff and front office along with the team. Now he has the diamond we call Jayden to build around with the other good pieces

After last nights performance the MVP talk will be more prevalent. He once again threw the whole team on his back and carried them to victory.

Eh, not really IMO. He still has no shot against Lamar or Allen, both of whom have been clutch as well, and both of whom dwarf him in production numbers. I think the case can easily be made for JD to be #4 in voting behind Lamar, Allen, and Barkley. Which is still a super impressive thing for a rookie.

To be honest though, I think Burrow should be in the mix with Lamar and Allen. He's been absolutely stellar this season. Unfortunately for him his defense is absolutely atrocious, so his great performances haven't resulted in as many wins as the others.

Washington would have the 5 wins projected with another quarterback.

If Daniels was in Baltimore or Detroit or Minnesota he would have these teams close to where they are now.

In reverse, I don’t see Darnold, Jackson or Jordan Love getting Washington to potentially 12 wins.

Jared Goff would look very average here.

Throwing out the hometown bias I would select Allen as he has done what Jayden has done with a harder schedule.

People are so quick to lionize guys that are playing with other stars.

Jayden doesn’t have Lamb or Barkley or Justin Jefferson.

Can you imagine what the record would be here if he did?

Last night he engineered his fourth game winning drive of the season.

Josh Allen may lead the NFL MVP race, but Jayden tops the NFC list. Nobody has done more to elevate his team than he has.

I think Barkley deserves consideration. Our win against the Eagles makes his case less powerful, but he did elevate that team with their backup and then third QB this week. 2,000 yards deserves nothing but respect. Helluva season. Mind you, I won't be surprised if he comes in third or even fourth in the actual MVP vote.

I’m not taking anything away from Saquon or personal records. But, RB’s just don’t have the same impact overall on games that QBs do. They just don’t. Barkley has been a great back for years but I don’t believe for a second that he is transformational to Philly’s success. His effectiveness this season, as great as it has been, is due in large part to the talent that he is surrounded by. Look back over his past seasons for evidence of that.

Let's not elevate Hurts too much. He's a good but not elite QB IMO. I think Philly would absolutely have won less games without Barkley. I know, as others have pointed out, that RBs generally don't elevate teams that much, which is usually true nowadays. But we're not talking about a RB having a really good season, we're talking about an RB potentially having the single best season in NFL history.

Either way, this is all moot. Allen or Lamar has MVP locked up. IMO Barkley will come in 3rd, and JD may come in 4th. I don't think MVP is something we should worry about too much. We can be quite happy with JD having a sensational rookie season and winning OROY and being likely set for a long time with a top franchise QB.

Jayden will not win the league MVP award (though being in the discussion is indeed warranted). He is, however, unquestionably his team’s MVP though and that alone is both real and spectacular.

I feel that they wouldn't give Jayden Daniels offensive rookie of the year and the MVP.

And since Daniels is a veritable lock to receive offensive rookie of the year, I don't see him getting the MVP award too.

JD, I think is a shoe in to be offensive ROY. MVP should go to RB Shaquon Barkley if he breaks Eric Dickerson's 40 year record this Sunday. He only needs 101 rushing yards against the NY Giants.
