That might have more to do with the LG and C more than it does the right side.

Patience is understandably in short supply, but that doesn't change the realities. Guys need reps to grow. At any position. The more skilled the position, the more time required. I see definite improvement in some areas from Kirk, for example. Improvements impossible without game time. Don't care how many snaps you get in practice, or really in preseason, which is still just practice IMO. Got to get real, meaningful experience. This is a rebuild. No matter what's happened in past decades, a rebuild is a rebuild and it takes time, talent infusion and patience. There's no quick fixing this mess. Teams that go from zero to hero from one season to the next have a whole lot less issues overall than this team has been mired with. We're seeing real tangible progress with youth we've gotten. If Scott can stay the course, we should finally be in for some good times. But it ain't happening this year, no matter how close we play teams.
 
I took some heart in Kirk Cousins play today. In no way did he seem overwhelmed or intimidated today. He looked poised, calm, and ready to get to work. If the rest of the offense shows up today, we have a gambler's chance. Instead, his supporting cast shat the bed and the rest is a forgone conclusion. But I think Cousins is showing signs he can be a starting QB in this league.

I also saw some good things from the running game. We ran it pretty well today - not sure it will look impressive by the stats, but by comparison to recent weeks, we were able to open up some holes on the ground. Matt Jones looked good - but if he can't learn to hold onto the ball, none of his other obvious talent matter. Get it together Jones!

I expected us to lose this game. Anyone with a brain expected us to lose this game. So I'm not sure I'd draw any grand conclusions from the fact that we lost this game. We need better WR play and someone other than Derek Carrier as a Jordan Reed bookend. Other than Jamison Crowder, we may not have a starting WR on this roster. Blow it up McLovin.

But contrary to popular opinion, it wasn't 100% bad today. Just mostly.
 
Can't complain at all about Kirk

8 drops last I heard, don't know if it would have made a difference in the outcome but dayum.

This is a completely different game without the drops at critical times. Frankly, the D did far better than I expected. They got huge turnovers at critical times. Kirk is maturing and looking more and more settled. It's still a rebuilding year. We're still many pieces short. I still see signs of the team moving in the right direction.

Did we hold them to their lowest point total this season?
 
I believe the were held to lowest point total. Their Offense is stupendous. We can hate them all we want, but unless they have an off day, they are going to score. We did well and gave our O every chance.
 
Yes, we held the Pats to their lowest score this season and were only the second team to hold them under 30 points in a game.

They scored 28 against the Steelers in Game 1.

OL was really good... Cousins was better than I expected... Dustin Hopkins was good again (tough place to kick)... We got a few TOs against a team that is stingy in that department.

An engineering feat! Now...the next one they build might not sink at all, but since we gave up completely...we'll never know.
 
Yeah, us being the actual reason for their lowest score of the season is pretty weak, have to wonder if we managed to not drop passes and scored some as a result how they would have responded..... not as much Blount I suspect.

I will say that the doubling Brady's interceptions for the year was pleasant. :)

how about...as Sean Springs noted: the Pats looked at the game basically as practice.
