The 2026 Free Agency Thread

Wylie is another that can play anywhere but center and a nice piece to have and it was him and Coleman that were our swing tackle/guards but what i meant is that, yes Coleman is now the starting left tackle and we still have two reasonably adequate backup tackles in case Coleman or connerly go down.

When we replaced biadasz with alligretti our plan for backup was wholly inadequate and its biting using the ass right now.
That's been the thought with Wylie but he has not received good reviews from playing G which is supposed to be his best position. We know he can play T but really isn't good at it.

I'm assuming that last sentence was an auto correct but regardless "biting using the ass right now" Lmao...

Most backups aren't all that great at it or they'd be starters.

This is why we do all those glut exercises so we can clamp... bite down ;)

True, but we are talking about Wylie who has a lengthy resume of success at G and some at T. He has been a steady and versatile player who is expected to be good not great at G and a warm body at T
